Beautiful location. Front desk helpful for extras. Location is perfect for beach! Unit as described and very pleasant. Especially the air conditioner! Bed is super comfy, pull out bed needs replacing as it's humorously soft and worn (teens didn't care). Owner communicative And helpful!
Great unit at Kiahuna Plantations. There was not a direct ocean view, but the unit was very well located - close to a parking lot but did not hear any car noise, close to the beach, and close to the pool (at the Poipu Athletic Club). Check in and out was easy with the Castle Resorts office. The unit furnishings were in good working condition and comparable to other units we have stayed in.

Communication with the owner was great, check in and out was good with Castle resort.The newly remodeled title on the listing was a little surprising, compared to the other units we’ve been in over the last 15 years. Overall the unit was a nice experience.
To our delight, the property was exactly as advertised and check in was a breeze. The location of the condo complex is the best location in Kauai (in our humble opinion). Restaurants and shops were in easy walking and driving distance. The beach is great for beginning surfers and the board rental on property was very reasonable. We will be back!
We had a great time here. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute walk to the pool. The condo is exactly as listed. Restaurants are also within walking distance. (Try the Italian place across the street!) They also had a beach chair, umbrella, mini coolers and some pool floats. Main bed is very comfortable and the sofa pulls out for a nice bed, perfect for kids. Everything was nice and clean and the AC worked great.
The 3 most important things to be for a place on the south shore. The grounds were very pretty and well kept as well. Thanks for sharing your place with me!
Enjoyed our 3 nights at Kiahuna Plantation. Great location and beach, pretty landscaping, good laundry facility. A/C and a good bed were unit highlights for us. Would stay again.
We have returned to this unit a number of times, after staying in other units in various locations on the property. Building location matters a lot, and this is the best! It’s a ground floor unit with lovely views of Kiahuna’s grounds from the lanai, and a quick walk to the beach. The building is small and very quiet. The air conditioning is a plus in the late afternoon; otherwise the breezes and ventilation features are most comfortable. We prefer Kiahuna Plantations for its beachfront location and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Nice, comfortable unit, a/c works very well and cools the whole condo. Lovely patio with nice foliage/setting, native birds, as well as sunset view. Grounds are beautiful, nice example of Hawaii. Short walk to the beach. Great location very near a variety of restaurants and shops.
We stayed in this condo in July of 2023, and we wanted the same condo for our summer vacation in August 2024! It's in a great location, especially being on the ground level. You can just walk out from the lanai and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the premises. It is very well maintained, and we love the peacefulness. The condo is very clean and it had everything we needed for our relaxing vacation. We have stayed in other condos at Kiahuna, but this condo is the best for us!
Our unit was clean and well-appointed, with everything needed for a day at the nearby beaches. The AC in our unit was a much-appreciated bonus, making the late afternoons and evenings very comfortable.
We have stayed in Poipu 5 or 6 times. This was our first stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. It’s is centrally located in the complex and in Poipu. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. FYI… there are no condiments or spices. Short walk to the beach.
This was a perfect little place for our son and his small family. We rented an additional unit next-door. Everyone was jealous of their air conditioning. They also have lots of extra beach items to use. They have an umbrella, beach chair, coolers, beach toys, and even a pack and play in the closet. The host was awesome to work with and super flexible with our schedule.
You have free access to the Poipu beach club across the street (pool, gym, pickleball, etc). You're close to the shops and restaurants. Your 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach. Honestly, you can't get much better than that. Highly recommend!
The unit worked very well for my family and I. We traveled with an infant and 6 year old. The pull out couch worked great, and there was space for a pack and play. The location was perfect. We spent most days either going to the beach or pool. There are also many places to explore on the island and this was a great launching point.
I strongly recommend this place.
We’ve been to Kiahuna many times and this unit is in a quiet and peaceful spot - The building has just 4 units. The view of the large grass area, the bridge, the many tropical planting, trees and flowers was a beautiful backdrop while relaxing on the very private lanai. Our unit was spotless and had everything we needed - a well stocked kitchen, new appliances, comfortable bed, and even a deep bathtub. The air conditioner was a big plus. One update needed is the cabinet in the bathroom. There’s lots of extra beach supplies- chairs, umbrellas, cooler with ice packs, boogie boards … This unit is terrific. I highly recommend and we plan to come back.
