Great place to stay with family. Enough room for the 10 of us to be comfortable. Loved the backyard patio and pool area. Excellent neighborhood. I would stay again and recommend this house!

As A family of 8 that likes to have space, we really enjoyed staying at Hale La'ela'a. Lots of space. Even a few of the closets had beds in them that had we had small children would have been great. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after playing in the waves or hiking all day. Great placement for back yard entertaining in the evening when one has had enough sun the pool, hot tub, and grill are in the shade. Also loved that there are no close houses to deal with. Management was very helpful taking care of problems that cropped up from before our visit. (The refrigerator had broken before we got there but when they received the part it was taken care of and the replacement option taken away.) The only thing we had trouble with, which wouldn't always be a problem for others, was the kitchen could be better stocked with cooking dishes, utensils, dry cloths, washcloths, ect.Still very usable for most part, or if you just need the basics, but we as a family who cooked together every evening a few more things would have made this smoother. All in all we loved our vacation, and loved the house, would definitely consider renting again.

This vacation we had 9 in our group, 1 of which is an adult in a wheelchair, and this house topped our expections for accessibility and space for all of us! There were some issues with appliances failing and the keypad not working but the hosts were on top of it and responded to any of our issues immediately! They even had a replacement fridge delivered next day. Highly recommend this property and would definitely rent from them again!
Excellent house and location for our stay in the island
The property was a very nice home. There were some minor challenges: not as clean as expected, cabinetry was damaged in kitchen, hot tube did to get very hot, the property gas is on propane and the propane needed to be re-filled. This impacted our ability to cook for a day.
Kauai is a beautiful island , the house was perfectly located in an area that was very accommodating ! The house and yard were very beautiful and the pool was used everyday after the beach:) Our families had the best time. The house fully accommodated every person in our families! Will defiantly come back to Kauai and stay in this house! Mahalo for your hospitality!

this was a very disappointing rental. the furniture is very worn, many things were broken, upstairs TV didn't work, smoke detectors were disconnected with wires hanging from the ceiling, sinks that didn't drain, light bulbs out, broken sliding doors and screens, carpet that hadn't been cleaned in years, windows that wouldn't stay open or wouldn't open at all. we stayed for three weeks and were only given introductory bottles of shampoo etc. we were then supposed to buy our own. there was a washer and a dryer but neither worked that well and it took many many hours to dry a full load and the wash came out smelling like it had never been washed. The property management was very attentive but I hated to have to call them for everything from extra toilet paper and dish soap to hanger for the closets. there were no beach chairs, umbrellas or biggie boards, we had to call to get the propane for the BBQ filled, I would definitely NOT recommend this house!

We all loved the house, pool, location and short distance to shops, beach and restaurants. Our time spent in the rental was very comfortable. We loved cooking in the large kitchen and enjoying our meals at the dining table together. The kids didn’t want to get out of the pool. The guests who stayed upstairs mentioned that one of the toilet handles was loose. I wish I was notified earlier, I would have tightened it.

This is a very comfortable house, air conditioned. We stayed with 7 adults and 3 children (ages 4,8 and 12). Very comfortable home, small but for us adequate pool and a nice hot tub. Only complaints we had - the unit had not been completely cleaned when we checked in. I think we checked the afternoon after morning departure of earlier guests. At least 1 of the upstairs bathrooms not cleaned properly and none of the bathrooms had enough towels. The outside grill was really filthy and we cleaned it. Other complaint - the kitchen had a mixed assortment of pots and pans. Usable but could refresh and update that. Real lack of good wine and drink glasses. Lots of plastic glasses but would have been nice to have real glass wine and martini glasses. Rental company was responsive. We would stay here again.

My family (8 adults and 2 children) stayed here for 9 nights in March 2024. Great location as we snuck in one or two golf holes at sunset and 5 minute drive to the beach. AC in ALL rooms (the description says only 2 rooms) Small pool but functional. 3 kings, 2 doubles, and 3 additional twin beds in the bedrooms. Mattress is okay but firm, the pillows are awful. Garage is locked off for the Owner. The home could use a little TLC, i.e. oil the screen door tracks. We had an issue for the propane (no hot water for a day) but Taren, the agent, was very responsive and prompt getting it fixed. I highly recommend the home.

This home was beautiful. We LOVED how close to beaches, shops, restaurants location was. The home is spacious, clean and more than enough amenities. The upkeep and maintenance was lacking.... Toilets running, burned out lightbulbs, and touchups needed (probably being to picky here) because it was a very nice home and area to enjoy our Family vacation! Not a lot of toys and thing for use on the beach (but a few) so we added a couple boogie boards, snorkeling gear sets and chairs. Hopefully they will stay for others to use.

We loved this house. It is so spacious. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and so big. The hot tub is big so it fit all of us. The kitchen is stocked with pans and utensils. It's in a quiet neighborhood. The host is quick to respond to messages. We would definitely stay again.Cons: The fridge doesn't get cold enough (we had food spoil), dishwasher doesn't get dishes very clean, and the dryer takes 2-3 cycles to get clothes dry. Not enough bath towels.
We had an amazing stay at this home! Our friends got together over the holidays and this home had everything we needed to have a great time. The pool and hot tub were great, and there was tons of space for cooking and preparing meals for 10 people. Everyone felt clean and safe and we all have wonderful things to say about our stay. The location is perfect for the area as it is quiet, and also very close to anything you will want to do in the town. Will recommend to others travelling to the Poipu area!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home but it could definitely use some general upkeep. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and well furnished, kitchen well stocked- all the basic necessities are available. Things just seem to be aging- faucets over spraying, light fixtures breaking (mostly exterior), tile chipping. The house could really use a deep cleaning- under beds was filthy, some furniture had months worth of dust accumulated. Management was extremely responsive and accommodating with requests and the housekeeper was wonderful. Overall still a great stay just would recommend some maintenance for future renters considering the price.
The house and location are beautiful! We had a family of nine, and this house provided plenty of space and the ability to not be crammed into a small space together for a week!
The area is quiet and peaceful, and just a few minutes drive to the beach. The pool and spa were nice to have when we wanted to get some sunshine but didn’t want to go out.
The only complaint I had was that the cleaning crew should check appliances before next guests come in. The blender had dried fruit stuck to the inside of it and the air fryer still had food stuck to the bottom. We had to do some cleaning before we could use those items. In addition the kitchen sink at times had no hot water, and when it did, it was warm, not hot. The house could use some TLC, but nothing too horrible. We did lose WiFi the last day but there was a pretty big wind and rain storm that rolled in so it was understandable.
Would recommend the crew leave more trash bags, and replace some of the kitchen items such as spatulas and cooking utensils. The kitchen knife’s were worthless and the scissors were stuck in the shut position.
Lastly, the chair cushions for the outdoor area had probably been stored in the storage box wet, because they smelled like mildew. We did our best to let them air out and made sure they were dry before we put them back.
Other than that, the place was wonderful and a great getaway! Our family had a great and relaxing week!
