I recommend this property. There was a minor plumbing problem and the owner took care of it immediately and fixed the issue. The TV was a little difficult for me to operate. I would stay again.
Kepuhi Beach Resort is peaceful and relaxing, a great place to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of Hawaii. The unit is comfortable and very well stocked with spices and condiments. It's in a great location for watching whales and sunsets, with lots of opportunities for walking, fishing, and bike riding.
This condo would be ideal for a couple. It’s clean, airy, has a nice kitchen & bathroom. I was traveling with my 2 kids & I wouldn't really recommend the pull-out couch, though my kid made it work.
Host was very responsive & helpful. You might need to buy your own TP & soap, etc. Depends who stayed here before you.
Molokai isnt for everyone. The beaches are gorgeous but not swimmable (in winter at least). But if remote quiet undeveloped Hawaii is your jam, then its magic: Hiking, long walks, cheap golf.
We took a snorkel tour one day with Molokai Fish & Dive. Swam with turtles & were amazed by the colorful vitality of the fringe reef. Highly recommend, even for beginner snorkelers. But the snorkeling that you can access on your own on Molokai is very very limited.
We were here in Feb and saw whales EVERY DAY. Molokai is the wild side of Hawaii. Enjoy!
We had an absolutely amazing time with our family of four staying at Kepuhi Beach for two weeks. Our son learned to swim in the pool and we hiked to far away beaches, spending time in the water all day for hours. Tom’s place was better than it looked in the photos: the patio was a great place for all meals with an excellent view for beautiful sunsets, the additional bedroom was super comfortable and laundry was very convenient, the pullout bed was also really nice, and the kitchen had the best stocked spices ever!!! There was a lot of wind during our stay and the seas were rough, but we were able to watch surfers and wait for the few calm days. Also note there is a store at the resort but it has expensive items best purchased if you happen to run out. There are a few people who do shuttles locally to and from town or the airport, and they are very kind and accommodating. Working remote was great - excellent signal with fast speed and internet operational all but two hours of our stay. We had to baby-proof the house a bit for our one year old but the outdoor area is perfect for kids to run safely and Tom was nice enough to leave sand toys and coloring stuff for our kids. We had such a wonderful time and really hope to come back!!!

I've stayed in numerous units at Kepuhi Beach Resort, also known as Kaluakoa Villas. This one is now at the top of my list. It was very clean. The red dust is a constant friend, and I am used to doing a little cleaning when I arrive, but this was not necessary this time. The Hawaiian decor is nicely done and the unit well stocked. Personally when I visit Hawaii, I want to experience Hawaiian style. The lanai, where I spent most of my time, is well furnished with two lounge chairs and a dining table with seating for 4. This building is angled slightly sideways to the ocean, so not a direct view of the water but really pretty awesome nonetheless. So many excellent sunsets to be had!

The only thing we had a problem with was finding the unit. Nowhere in the listing that we could find, did it say which number it was. The only way we found it was looking at pictures and finding the end unit with the little lizard ornament on the balcony. All in all, it was a great stay! We are planning on coming back in September for another visit, so if we do, we will definitely consider booking here again!

The unit was wonderfully maintained. It was clean, tidy, there were lots of little useful extras like beach towels and some pool toys.
The view of the ocean is unimpeded and so very calming.
