We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed and was clean and quiet and spacious. Loved enjoying the view from the upstairs lanai every morning! We did notice the need for some maintenance with several of the screens. We would also have liked some blackout curtains in the main bedroom (landscape lighting is very bright) and blinds in the main bathroom for privacy.

The toilet in the bathroom was loose at the base with grout missing. We called the manager's number to file a complaint. Beautiful property! Everything was clean and ready to feel right at home. Only a few steps to the pool, where we spent a lot of time. Also walking distance to the beach my husband surfed several time, and shops and resturants. The sunsets breathtaking. Must stay!!!

The only problem we had was finding out unit. We arrived at night and it was difficult to see the unit number. It would have been helpful to have a copy of the map that was in the condo or perhaps a lighted sign ("J" in our case) on the roadside. Other people we met said the same thing.

We enjoyed our stay at Na Hale O Keauhou. The property was well kept, the pool and exercise room clean and inviting. It was very quiet usually, with what happened to be noisy neighbors on a couple evenings. We enjoyed eating outside on the lanai and had a nice visits with a neighbor’s cat. The kitchen was well appointed and the living area comfortable. We didn’t use the televisions.During our stay, temperatures were pleasant so we shut off the air conditioning and opened windows and doors. (Screen on the front door didn’t seem to work.)The master bedroom was comfortable, but there was a lot of light at night. Recommend an eye mask or heavier window coverings. The twin beds in the smaller bedroom were NOT comfortable, hard with a rocking motion. The room was dark, though!We liked that it was away from the hubbub of Kona, with a shopping center close. There are so many things to do on the big island, we will just have to come back.
