Beautiful view of the ocean! Property very clean and spacious with lots of amenities! We highly recommend this home especially for families!

Location is beautiful, right on the ocean. Very spacious. Large kitchen a plus. Had everything we needed for our trip to the Big Island. Will stay here again
Really great house, gorgeous views of the ocean, and quiet, safe neighborhood. The long drive in took some getting used to but we really appreciate how off the beaten path it was. Communication with the host was very easy and prompt. Thanks for a memorable vacation!
This is an amazing house with gorgeous ocean views! It was perfect for our family of 7 to relax and recharge after exploring the island. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, away from main roads and attractions providing a wonderful secluded experience. Our kids loved swimming in the pool every evening and watching for lizards, frogs, crabs and of course chickens! Owner was very response and quick to address our needs.

This home offers stunning ocean cliff views and dramatic sunrises that far exceed what the photos capture. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty. While the house itself is older and dated as you can see in the pictures, the breathtaking surroundings truly make it special.The pool was sparkling clean and a huge hit with our kids, especially with all the pool toys provided. There is not a shallow section for littles, maybe 4.5 to 5 ft deep, but ours were all good swimmers so not an issue for us. Communication was mixed—initial contact was slow and couldn’t answer questions about amenities, but the local contact was quick to respond and helpful. A few things to note:- The grill was a nice surprise, though the propane tank was empty and we were expected to fill it. In past stays that included a grill, it has always been ready for use.- There weren’t enough beach towels for our group, and essentials like a cooler and blender were missing which are commonly included items at a location with a pool and beaches nearby.- Grocery stores and restaurants are roughly a 30-minute drive, so plan ahead if proximity is important.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return—the views alone make this home unforgettable! The location was fabulous. House great for family of 11 ages 15 - 70. John was very helpful and respond quickly to any issues. Highly recommend.

A group of students from Idaho spent three days on a service trip in Hilo and stayed at this location. It was perfect. Lots of beds, great kitchen, and the views! Oh, my.
Overall, it was an appropriate size and location for our family. The 5 bedrooms provided privacy for our family. It was nice to have a large gathering space, eating space and kitchen prep area. The location provided amazing sunset views and the private neighborhood was nice for running and walking on the lava. Air conditioning was a bonus as was the washer and dryer. The driveway provided ample space for our cars. The pool was enjoyed by the family. The kitchen appliances, cabinets and sink were old and needed updating. There were 5 beach chairs available in the garage. Unfortunately, we rented during the winter break and our price was inflated compared to what it would be for the same time in 2025.
This is a lovely home that could use some refreshing. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet, and there is a lot of parking (we only had one car, but if you had a bigger group, there's room for more). The views out back are stunning. There are plenty of towels for showers and pool. We had an issue with the wifi and the shower in the main BR (this was our lack of understanding of how it works) and we had a resolution from the manager within an hour. The mini-splits kept the home comfortably cool. We would stay again in this property. Thanks to the owners for making it available on the rental market!
Beautiful scenery, quiet neighborhood easy to find about 30 minutes from stores and places to eat, the drive is Beautiful Greenery….My Family and I Loved it. Haven’t been to Hilo in over 20 years.
The house was beautiful. The view was beautiful. The pool was amazing. Everything was wonderful. The host was accessible with any questions and everything was just amazing. I recommend this house for anybody that wants to stay in Keaau Anywhere we wanted to go and Hilo was 30 to 45 minutes away, which was not a bad drive. We did travel to the other side of the 2 Hour Dr. but it was worth it. We made a day of it. We were there for my daughters 21st birthday and she had a blast. Everything was amazing. Thank you again if we ever return to Hawaii, I’ll be definitely sure to Please also let me know if you have any other properties on any other islands.
This house was just what we needed for our stay. We did a lot of day trips, so it was nice to have a space we could come back to and decompress or rest up for the next adventure.
