Maui vacation rental at Kealia resort was amazing. Enjoy supper out your patio and watch the sunset and listen to the sound of the waves. Just steps away from the beach. The newly renovated bathroom is very senior friendly as it has bars in the shower and a raised tiolet seat. The property was always very clean. The manager and maintenance man provided great customer service.

The Kealia Resort is a nice quiet location at the north end of chain of resorts spanning down Kihei road. The Sugar beach is in your backyard which you can stroll along the soft white sand or just sit and relax in the beach chairs provided in the unit.Close by is an ABC Store, Sugar Beach Bake Shop(The Malasadas there are excellent), and Ululani's Hawaiian Shaved Ice.Grocery stores and restaurants are a 5-10min drive down Kihei Rd.The unit was nice and roomy, comfy bed, AC, and a full kitchen. We ate breakfast daily out on the patio with the ocean as our backdrop. Be wary of the chicken that roam the outside, they will try to steal you breakfast if you're not paying attention.The room has beach equipment that you can use. We only used the beach chairs and and umbrella, they were well used and probably should be replaced soon, but they served their purpose.Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!

The sign in the kitchen says, "Welcome to our Little Grass Shack" and that's the sentiment stepping into this lovely 1BR well located, completely furnished, nicely decorated Condo with extraordinary ocean views and direct beach/pool access. The Owners and staff at the Kealia Resort provided for an excellent, welcoming, very much appreciated 12 day stay. ALOHA was everywhere. Furnishings. Towels/Bedding. Decorations. Kitchen. Bath. Washer/Dryer. The abundance of conveniences made everyday naturally beautiful and comfortable.

Pictures are very accurate, The beach and gentle wave breaks are right off the back deck. Lots of restaurants within close driving distance. Adequately stocked condo unit, and a very relaxing stay!1 Con - The resident property manager, in my opinion, goes over and beyond enforcing the mask regulation. You can’t sit at the pool with any distance restricting without being told to “put your mask on”

Well appointed condo. Fully equipped kitchen, beach equipments, comfortable bed, Very nice location right on the beach. Would stay again.
Everything was great and the location is perfect.
Loved the location of this property. The beach is footsteps away and it is peaceful and isolated. The view from the porch was amazing. The condo also provided everything I needed such as beach chairs and a snorkeling set.
Only feedback is that the condo could use some updating but didn’t bother me at all although it may drive other renters away. For those of us that care more about the view and location, it was perfect!

Perfect location for all our day trips. Quiet condo location even though garden maintenance and restoration of condo next door. Close to popular surf beach but could swim/snorkel out the front of the condo in morning, a bit choppy in afternoon. Maui Canoe club a stroll up the beach if you want to try canoeing with a very friendly group of enthusiasts ($20 donation) and other water sport rental just a short stroll to nearby store.Also great bakery about a 5-10 minute walk (beach or road) with malasadas and key lime or coconut pie to die for! Next door is a local farmers market and shave ice. Short drive to Kihei shopping centre with all the stores you need or quick trip to costco near the airport. Sleep at night with the windows open and listen to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. Watch the sun set from the lanai every afternoon. Perfect piece of paradise. definitely would stay here again - hopefully soon! one downside was a few cockroaches - wondered if they had sprayed or perhaps they have migrated from the restorations going on in the next condo along.

Please note: The units at this property are individually owned, so these remarks pertain to this unit only. In talking to guest and owners about there units, our unit was not indicative of the norm. The location of the resort, the pool and grounds, the bed, and the view from the unit were the plus factors. I felt that all of the furniture was worn and uncomfortable and the kitchen was small and antiquated, and except for the bathroom, I felt that little, if any, upgrades have occurred since the unit was new. Although the unit was clean, it was difficult to get a sense of cleanliness with the colony of little ants coming out of a kitchen electrical outlet and crawling up the wall, the nightly cockroach safari to chase down and kill the large cockroaches, and the invasion of these tiny black bugs that migrated from the backwater lagoon just up the road. In order to keep the black bugs out of the unit, we had to close all the doors and windows, because the screens had holes in them. so there was no lounging on the deck any time after 4pm. This was a ground floor unit, and perhaps that added to the ant and cockroach problem. Would we stay at the resort again? Yes, but we would be more selective as to which unit we rented, and we would inquire as to when the black bugs from the lagoon were not present during the year.

This unit is well located in the building but VERY dated with little effort to update. Our stay was shortened due to the noise from concrete remediation work on the building. Hats off to the onsite manager who re-located us.
