Experience the exquisite natural beauty of the Big Island. This beautiful 2008 home is located in an extremely quiet neighborhood in Kona. There are 5 bedrooms – each with a king size bed option and all en suite. The primary bedroom and 2nd bedroom have King beds. Bedroom 3, 4 & 5 have Twin Beds that can be converted to King beds for an additional fee. Four of the bedrooms are located on the upstairs floor and one on the lower level and all of the bedrooms have AC. There is also a futon that converts into a full size bed.
The kitchen is well appointed with all Viking appliances – including a 6 burner stovetop. For those interested in staying fit while on vacation, there is an exercise room equipped with an ellipse, treadmill, recumbent bike, Smith machine, and free weights. . The plunge pool provides a seating alternative. The side yard is full of banana trees, a starfruit tree, and herbs and vegetables. You are welcome to pick what is ripe.
The house is close, approximately 2-4 miles, to a variety of activities for you and your guests to utilize, this includes beaches like Kahaluu Beach Park and White Sands Beach: major department stores and boutiques, dining choices range from fast food to fine dining restaurants and/or hiring a personal chef to prepare meals at the house.
Don't imagine it - come to Kawena and experience the real Hawaii.
Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home.
Security cameras are installed on the outside of this residence. Two on the back of the home, one on the front.
Minimum night varies seasonally between 5 - 10 nights. This is a non-smoking, no pets home.

The home was perfect for our week stay in Kona!
The house was clean & spacious. The pool, view from the pool and location close in to Kona was also perfect.
The kitchen and bar area was well stocked with all the essentials including glassware and plastic poolside dishware. Beds and linens were comfortable.
We would come back to this home and have already recommended the home to friends.
We also appreciated the welcome basket upon arrival and the excellent communication from your staff before checkin!

Large group for the Ironman. Loved this property. We were nervous about AC only being in the bedrooms but it was totally fine! Great space to spread out. Loved having a wet bar and extra frig. Helped so much with food prep for our large group. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is equipped with EVERYTHING. Best house we've ever had regarding that. Bedrooms are very conducive to a family as each has its own bath. Pool nice, common areas nice. Five minute drive to Kona.

The house had everything we needed for our stay with 7 guests. It was in the perfect location, convenient to stores, restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood and view were incredible. David our concierge was amazing! We were able to book several activities and he helped us rebook two things last minute after one place canceled. Everyone was very pleased and we would stay again.

The house was perfect for our mixed families, totaling 10 people. Everyone had a private bath. Beds were comfortable. Pool was clean and super fun with a great view of the ocean- perfect for sunsets! Location is nice for everything on the Kona side (beaches, town, marina), but it is a hike to get to black sand beach, volcanoes NP and Hilo from here. Loved every minute- would highly recommend.

We loved our stay, everything about the house was as described. The only issue we had was one of the bedrooms had no shower pressure which we had to just not use the shower. We will book it again when we go!!

Very clean house and property. Ac in each room was great for our early Sept trip. Plenty of room for each group to have their own pace.

The house was wonderful. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds were comfy and air conditioning led to refreshing sleep. There is a cook’s kitchen with ample utensils, bowls, and specialty pans to make anything you want to make. The pots and pans were new and all appliances were updated. In addition to a large fridge in the kitchen they have another fridge in the breakfast area which we used as a beverage fridge.
The house was well stocked. We had plenty of paper towels, laundry soap, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc. for our 2 week stay.
The outside is wonderful. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good working order. There is an abundance of seating options to sun bath or enjoy the incredible views. We ate all meals outside on the large table on the covered patio. There is an additional patio area upstairs that is wonderful for watching sunsets and enjoying the view.
The neighborhood felt safe and was walkable. They have a book exchange just up the street which was convenient and well stocked.
If you are staying here in the heat of summer the main part of the house is not air conditioned. It was hot during our stay but we spent the majority of the day outside. There are overhead fans in all rooms so that helped move the air nicely in the evenings.
If you have a large group this is a wonderful house. We would definitely stay here again.
