Getting Around:
The Big Island has much to see and do, and it is highly advised that Guests rent a car to take advantage of the many things this island has to offer. Hawaii Island does not have abundant public transportation, so renting a car is best. However, if you do not drive, you may consider hiring a charter tour, driver, or Uber.

*Please note that the Mauna Kea Resort charges a separate $260 per day (per 4-bedroom house) resort fee to assume member's guest privileges. This fee is paid upon check-in at the guest services office located in the Hapuna Hotel lobby (details included in the rental agreement).
