great stay for a business trip
The view was SPECTACULAR! It was wonderful listening to it at night in bed. As the description said, the place does need renovation, but it was clean and the beds comfortable. We had several issues.The door code we were sent had been changed. Fortunately a workman gave us the new code. There was a sign on the dishwasher stating that it did not work. The light and fan above the dining table also did not work. When renovated it will be great. If you don't mind the inconveniences, the price is right and the view doesn't get any better!incontinences, .Theworkwork.
The condo is ocean front without beach access. You can take a 10 min trail to access the beach, which is a nature trail and not a leisurely walk, but not difficult either. The beach is beautiful, but you can’t use it to lay out or go in the water. It’s mostly large rocks, not sand.
The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Close to beaches and restaurants etc. The condo is older and there are some flaws, but it reflects that in the price. There is a large lush area to view the beach and the sunrise. The pool area is more modern and nice. The owners replied quickly to questions. The power was out up in the upstairs area due to a breaker issue and someone came to fix it within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had an awesome time while staying here! The condo was equipped with all the essentials— towels, beach supplies, deck, washer/dryer, and a few games/movies. We were close to Hanalei, which is a nice little town to eat/shop. A few issues with no AC and few fans. The hosts weren’t the quickest to reply, but did eventually send us the check-in information the day of our arrival. We weren’t right on the beach, but there were many quick and accessible beaches and hikes to drive to. Would definitely recommend!
You get what you pay for I guess. Oil stains, bug bites, noisy pipes, rusty bathtub. Paint peeling. No response from owner/host....Excellent views though! But no beach access.
