Our recent vacation at a gorgeous two-bedroom condo in Kauai was truly remarkable. After visiting the island three times previously, we can confidently say this trip surpassed all our expectations.The condo was beautifully decorated, providing spectacular ocean vistas that made our experience unforgettable. Each morning, we enjoyed drinking coffee on the lanai while watching whales gracefully swimming by—such a great way to start the day. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect, nestled between three beautiful resorts, offering tranquility while remaining close to various attractions.One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area, which enhanced the overall appeal of the property. It was an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island.Our hosts were outstanding, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the very beginning.For anyone planning a trip to Kauai, I highly recommend renting a convertible. We love this area and have come to Poipu for 26 years. We have stayed at a number of places and Alihi Lani really fit our needs for relaxation and beauty.
Location and cleanliness was great. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great! We own a luxury rental ourselves so I’m probably a little more hyper sensitive to what needs to be addressed. It needs SOLID interior bathroom doors to help with noise levels and slider to lanai is worn out and squeaky and needs to be addressed. I would replace the coffee maker as it is not working as well as it should. Suggestions.. Quick channel guide of basic numbers for the TV such as ABC NBC CBS ESPN news channels, etc. When I was cooking, I kept looking for a whisk to whisk up our eggs for our breakfast on the lanai that would be helpful to have one. I put together a binder for our place that had laminated sheets of information in it as well as brochures and suggestions to the restaurants and bars, grocery stores, etc., in the area all in one binder, the more information the better for my guests and I think that would work really great for your place too. Everything I mentioned above are definitely NOT dealbreakers and we would definitely come back again. We loved it. We had a wonderful time. For the second year in a row we have stayed at this beautiful property. It's exceptionally clean, nice layout and a spectacular view of the ocean. We love the pool is just a few steps from our lanai and it's a very comfortable temperature. It's in a great location close to Poipu beach, good shopping and a lot of restaurants. I highly recommend this property. If you are looking for the perfect location this is it!
The view is incredible. The condo is in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants, and the beach; it’s a great home base to explore the rest of the island as well. Expectations exceeded!
Our stay was fantastic! The location is perfect, and the views of the ocean are unbelievable. We loved everything about our visit and will absolutely stay here again when we return to the island.
Some negatives - lots of noise - all floors inside are hard surface so you hear anyone moving a chair throughout the six-plex; gates for the pool are very noisy as kids come and go with bang, bang, bang; interior doors are all slatted so interior privacy is not there; locals use the road out front for loud music festival each night. Location is beautiful but we will not be returning. Sleep eludes renters. Pool was also closed and dirty.
the listing is very accurate the location is really excellent. Gorgeous Kauai sunsets. One thing to be aware of is all doors have slats and there is no carpet so they house is definitely a bit noisy. With 3 teenagers that would be have been helpful to know ahead of time thinking about sleeping arrangements.
This beautiful property was the perfect place to spend 7 relaxing days on Kauai. Walking distance to restaurants/shops and the path along the beach is just steps away. The sunrise and sunset views from the patio were spectacular! Loved watching the turtles floating in the surf. We will definitely stay here again!!
Watching both the sunrise and sunset from the same location was amazing. You know you have a good location when people drive to your location to watch the sunset! Walking distance to great restaurants. Loved the sea turtles. The deck and outside space was great.
