A fantastic place for mixing in real relaxation while going on family adventures. *We stayed for a week with our three teen/young adult children. Having a nice kitchen made it so easy to choose to eat in- with outdoor tables on both the front porch and back porch, so nice! Having 3 full bathrooms meant nobody was annoyed because they were waiting ;) * It took us a day to realize JUST HOW CLOSE we were to beach access - looking out the front, follow the rock wall along the property line until it ends, cross the street right into the short path that ends on the sand!! We saw a beautiful double rainbow while on the porch and had plenty of time to go across the street and see it while standing in the water! *Embrace the fact that you're not in a resort jammed with other people, and know you're up close with roosters, geckos (who might find their way inside), and the occasional little bugs that might find their way through an older screen doors while you're light is on at night. *Check-in was easy, communication was great. We enjoyed all the space, inside with nice beds and two living room spaces, and outside surrounded by a big yard with all kinds of beautiful plants.

This lovely home sits across the street from the beach. Beach access is in front of the property! Life can’t be better when you know you chose well. Each bedroom as air flow from at lease two sides plus ceiling fan for comfortable sleeping. Two separate common living rooms with views of the lovely, no lovely doesn’t do it justice. Fantastic tropical garden. You will enjoy that this home is elevated so that the breezes flow thru the home. There are plenty of TVs (we only used them at night to stream classic films. Skip “Blue Hawaii”). Each bedroom has an onsuite which was lovely. You can relax in the hammock with beautiful garden views Kitchen and bathrooms have essentials but expect to restock paper towels and bath tissue if you stay a full week. I’d recommend bringing your favorite shampoo and body wash as supply is minimal and less than your standard brands. Beach supplies provided but lack a cooler for beverages on the beach. If your party are avid snorkels plan to bring a few extra sets of gear too. Finally just know that anywhere you book on this island you don’t kneed an alarm clock. The roosters will wake you up. If you like to sleep in to 7am bring some ear plugs to get that extra few hours each morning. Flashlight may be handy after dark so you don’t mistake a bullfrog for a rock. Great adventure awaits your next visit!Property management provided clear instructions and checked in timely making them very proactive and responsive. Easy to work with. I’d give this home a 10 rating if available. My extended family booked two other properties, on just .5 mile down from us and the other in princeville. We all agreed that ours was the superior home for comfort and location.
This beautiful home is literally steps from a gorgeous, quiet stretch of beach on Anini. The location doesn’t get much better than this! There’s plenty of space for a family or couples and a good amount of privacy as well. The views are amazing off of both front and back decks. The home is a taste of Hawaii with its island style and lush surroundings. Staying here was a treat for us!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anini beach house. The location covered all!!! The house is little bit up such as dirty carpet spot, spiders web everywhere, bathroom. Also, sliding door not working properly very hard to open and close. The kitchen is stock up with basic needs pot and pans but it’s not safe to use them because of the scratches. Otherwise we loved location and property itself. It located just across from Aninin beach.

We stayed here with our daughter, son and daughter in law. The layout of the property worked well for us. The location on the north side of the island meant we were driving back and forth from the south quite a bit, but also allowed us to visit some beautiful beaches in the north. The inside could use a thorough cleaning, especially the bathrooms, and the carpet is well warn. The kitchen was adequately outfitted although they could use some new frying pans.

Roomy, open interior. 3 bed 3 bath, wrap around deck with gas barbecue. 1 minute walk to anini beach. Short drive to Prineville and Hanalei - Hanalei Bay beach. Recommend visiting Ha'ena state park but you must make reservations in advance to enter.We went to the south shore one day to tour Allerton Gardens and have dinner at the Beach House restaurant. Well worth the drive down.Highly recommend this property for your north shore Kauai vacation!Aloha

My family and I, 7 adults spent a week in this fabulous house. We mostly enjoyed the location, we felt like locals driving everyday back to the house in this stunning neighborhood. Anini beach was just across the street, enjoyed just walking with our boards to the ocean and sunsets on the beach. Another pro about the location was short drives, to coffee shops, food trucks, shopping and other restaurants. We did drive south to Poi pu and linhue a few times which was about 25-30 min. And, enjoyed all the chickens and roosters that greeted us every morning and all day. The house was comfortable for us, rooms and bathrooms clean, could've been stacked with more sheets and TP, also paper towel in the kitchen only one roll for us 7, was not enough for the week, 2 would've been good. Also be aware house has no AC, we did not need it and were very comfortable until the last night when temps stayed in the mid 70s during night, after a storm, so felt hot and humid. Kept the windows open and very nice cool air helped. The coffee maker could be replaced for a better working one that has an auto shut off. Used it only once, but our group enjoyed going to coffee shops. The kitchen is well stocked, nice dishes, everything you need, we did not cook much but seemed to have everything. House was great, except that it is very outdated, clean but outdated. Overall, it was a great week for our family of 7 adults.

This rental home has so much to offer it's guests with it's widevopen space and indoor/ outdoor opportunities. The location is perfect, just across the street from the beach, but the grounds of the property are an outdoor oasis as well with the lovingly tended flora and fauna, wild as it is. It is relaxing to sit on the front or back lanai and soak up the environment. We will be back!

To access the beach, you just cross the road and walk down a tree-lined path. You can snorkel here for hours. Fish aren't as plentiful here as other beaches, but there are still plenty of beautiful fish. The management company makes everything straightforward and easy. The house itself could use some updating but it's an incredibly space with 3 bedrooms, each with unique access to a bathroom. We cooked each night: I made tuna with mango/avocado salsa, ramen with pork belly and vegetarian ramen, ono with a lime buerre blanc and toasted coconut (with coconut and lime from trees out back), chicken shwarma (sorry chickens in the yard) and carne asada tacos--most everything I needed to cook was available--even an electric juicer! Each night, we sat on one of the decks for dinner and stayed up late watching the stars or the rain, sometimes both. Again, the house could use new windows and I don't know why rentals have carpet but we took off our shoes as requested and that probably helps keeps the floors clean. I wish there were a few more cleaning supplies for a mid-week clean. I also wish there was just one more roll of papertowels and of toilet paper. The house was comfortable and pleasant but not newly remodeled--which is actually fine since one is outdoors most of the time. I would stay there again.

We had three generations of family sharing the house plus one other adult friend for a total of 7 people. The three bedrooms and the fold-out couch provided the beds that we needed. The three bathrooms were really appreciated. The location was fantastic, the house was fantastic. We had a great time!

I had read a review or two saying that Oceanview was difficult to get hold of. This is true if you try to correspond through the VRBO system. However directly to Oceanview Rentals whether by phone or email my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Jamie and Jessica's customer service skills are beyond the pale both before and during our stay. We arrived at our rental Condo at around 1PM to the mess of a prior sewer back up. It was clear the kitchen would be unusable as the counter top was swollen with water damage. Since we were in Princeville anyway we drove over to there offices and showed Jessica pictures of the damage. We were devastated as with thought this may be a harbinger of what our trip was going to be like. We couldn't have been more wrong. Jessica quickly scanned available rentals and had us upgraded to a beautiful 3 bedroom beach home across from Anini beach. We are seasoned travellers on our first time to Kauai. Not only did we fall in love with the Island, we intend to come back to that house across from that beach. Thankyou Oceanfront Realty and specifically Jessica for turning what could have been a disaster into our most memorable vacation to date!

The team at Oceanfront Realty International very helpful answering questions, especially when we first booked. I'm sorry to say the VRBO team wasn't as helpful. The location was amazing, across the beach, which was beautiful, the large yard well groomed, the back yard with views of the jungle, flowering & fruit trees and hillside foothills. The totally enjoyed the company of "Grace Hopper" a very mild-mannered disabled chicken.

Puanani was very comfortable and the perfect house layout for our family with 3 bedrooms/bathrooms positioned at opposite corners of the home giving each privacy. The location was ideal with excellent access to Anini Beach right across from the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. with a BBQ on the lanai. May be a hangover from pandemic restrictions but we thought it odd that there are NO STAPLES provided except a little salt and pepper. If you are going to cook you need to buy everything you will need to prepare your meal. They provide a “starter” of one paper towel, two toilet rolls and one small pocket pack of Kleenex per bathroom, two single load packet laundry detergent. But did provide adequate dishwasher soap pods. It felt a little stingy given the price. The interior of the home was comfortable, clean and well cared for but we did have an issue of mold/fungus on both lanais which made them slippery and not pleasant to use. Assumed it’s caused by all the rain but the property manager was very responsive and sent a maintenance person the following day to solve the problem. We were blessed to get perfect weather with the rain during the night and clear sunny days. We began our days with a family walk on the beach at sunrise. We loved our week in Kauai. Thank you.

The house is beautifully situated on a large property full of Plumeria and Citrus trees, and in the very front, there is a spectacular huge Monkey Pod tree with flaming red blossoms. The house is right across from the beach access path, only steps away to Anini reef beach and sea turtles. We loved this quiet end of the beach. Our favorite place to be was the large front lanai where we would watch the tropical birds awaken every morning. We ate breakfast here every day and had fun feeding our wild local rooster and hens some bread bits. Our beds were really comfortable with sparkling clean linens, bathrooms clean and full of fresh towels. We also had beach towels, beach chairs, and floaty noodles. We didn't need AC because the house is angled to the trade winds, and all rooms have big screened sliding doors and ceiling fans. The internet is speedy and perfect for anywhere in the house. The backyard is huge, with the jungle behind and spectacular mountains beyond. We enjoyed 9 heavenly days in this tropical paradise, and can't wait to return. Thank you so much for hosting us!

House is as described and in a good location. Internet connection is very poor. Had to reset several times each day and the feed is slow. Not good if you have business to do!
We enjoyed a week here an Anini beach. Right across the street from great Stand Up Paddling. Close to trails to bike ride. House was bigger than we needed. 6 could easily enjoy this place. We liked the lawn for frisbee. Kitchen has what you need. Lanai on both sides is great for morning and evening.
We enjoyed our stay at Kauai! The house was spacious and perfect for our visit. Everyone was very pleased with the house.
