Amazing property! It worked perfectly for our two families and was close to all the things we wanted to visit. Ben was a very responsive, helpful and gracious host! Honestly the best VRBO host I’ve had experience with!
The house is lovely and in a beautiful neighborhood. The host supplies ample chairs, beach towels, bikes, and beach toys to keep a family busy. The back yard is spacious and tropical. The view of the mountains from the deck was delightful and the kitchen was well stocked. I hesitate to say anything negative but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the AC really only covers the upstairs. While the description says the tradewinds keeps the downstairs cool, we did not find that to be the case, especially when people were sleeping in the bedrooms with the doors closed. It became uncomfortably warm down there at times. Also, the internet was present downstairs but was painfully slow - less than 1MB download when we ran a speed test. So it all worked out when we focused on being upstairs but if you are hoping for a little separation within the house, the downstairs does have those limitations, which don't quite match the description. Overall, a lovely stay with some small incoveniences.
This property was exceptional!! Super comfy beds, everything you could need away from home! So many items for the beach!! Simply beautiful and easy!! Ben was so easy to deal with and very responsive! Would rent here again in a heartbeat!

We have visited Kauai multiple times over the years and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed in so far. Clean, well stocked with essentials, in walking distance to stores and parks, lots of healthy fruit trees, soft towels, beach towels, chairs, bikes, helmets, toys and books and on and on. The house is very spacious and allowed everyone in our group of six to have personal space as well as wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for group dinners/BBQs. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. It’s a relatively short walk to the beach. I wouldn’t carry a cooler to the beach but could manage a beach chairWe had a fantastic time!
The house has plenty of space for 6 people. It's well-furnished, with a big kitchen. We spent most of our time on the upstairs porch, enjoying the birds and the view. The two ensuite bathrooms were great but the shower/tub in the other bathroom could use an upgrade. We appreciated the beach equipment that was available. I would stay here again.
We (7 adults) were very comfortable at this lovely home, with all the amenities we could hope for. It was so helpful to have use of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, and boogie boards, all provided by the host. Likewise, the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to have meals at 'home.' The table does not accommodate more than 5, but the bar stools afforded us plenty of seating for meals. We also loved sitting on the balcony, especially in the early morning when the bird songs provided the perfect soundtrack to start the day. The only minor complaint I have is the air circulation, as all the a/c units are upstairs and it was difficult to get the downstairs bedrooms cool enough for sleeping. However, opening the windows does allow for breezes to provide some relief.
For my 50th birthday I brought my best friend my two sons and one of their best friends to Kauai! We had an amazing time and loved our stay in Ben and Linda's home! It is beautiful, comfortable and the strategically placed lanai offers the most amazing view of the regal mountains and the best place to spend a peaceful morning listing to and watching the array of birds who visit the trees and plants in the gorgeous landscaping!
The home was amazing. We all had space and there were many amenities that helped us to have a great time. We were in a great neighborhood, close to shopping and dining and the beaches. It was sad to have to leave!
We stayed for a week and loved this place. Great location and friendly neighbors. Very close to Hanalei Bay which is our favorite beach on Kauai. Listing is accurate and size of house accommodates our large group with kids and teens. Nice spacious backyard and deck was great.
We returned to the Bunn residence because of the cleanliness, size, location, and quiet neighborhood. Enjoying a meal or reading on their lanai is wonderful and relaxing. The new grill and appliances and well stocked kitchen make eating in an easier option. It's convenient to walk or bike to the Foodland to pick up necessities.
We would love to come back yet again.
This home was perfect for our group of 6. The kitchen was fully stocked and the owner was helpful and informative. The grocery and a small strip mall was within walking distance and there was anything you needed for outdoor activities. Can’t rave enough about how great this vacation was. The outdoor shower was a hit.
This house and location are perfect for exploring Kauai. The house was comfortable and even better than the pictures. Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent. I would definitely recommend this house as a great home base for your Kauai vacation.

We loved our stay here! This home has everything you need to be vacation homebodies or adventurers! The home is beautiful, great Mountain View’s from the Lanai, all the necessities to make your meals at home. We loved the large gathering spaces for the family and the 4 bedrooms gave everyone their own space to rest when they need it! Lots of beach/snorkeling equipment to use too! We loved having laundry available in the home! The host was amazingly responsive and quick to help with questions or request we made. This is a great place for anyone looking for a beautiful place to call “home” for a while in Kauai! We can’t wait to go back and stay here again!

Location was perfect, house was comfortable with every amenity one could ask for, and it was just perfect for my family. Host was extremely helpful and communication was great all through the process of booking property and us arriving.

The house was absolutely clean and supplied, ready for us. We appreciated the small things to help us have a comfortable visit, such as beach towels and sunblock ready for us. My kids rode the bikes around the neighborhood and we used the grill on the lanai. Everything regarding the house was wonderful.

The property was perfect. My husband and I had the upstairs bedroom, our three kids and two significant others all took a room downstairs. I absolutely loved the shower upstairs, the entire bathroom was beautiful, and our bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of room for us to eat together, either inside or outside on the covered porch. Plenty of cups, dishes and silverware and a dishwasher available for quick cleanup. We enjoyed the bikes, snorkeling equipment and washer and dryer all of which added time and convenience to our vacation. The upstairs is equipped with central air, which is wonderful. We rarely used it because the weather was not too hot and the house stayed comfortable with open windows. Outside trees and plants were fun to look at and photograph, property was beautiful! Lastly, we had a lot of rain and we even watched a few movies from the available library, all appropriate choices for a Hawaiian vacation! If I ever go back to Hawaii I would definitely look into staying there again and would recommend it to anyone else who asks.
The home is so perfect for us, if I win the lottery I am going to put in an offer to buy---lol. We are two grandparents, two parents and two grandchildren and it was the perfect space and place for us. A short and beautiful walk away from the grocery store, a toy and children's book store and an awesome breakfast bowl place called "The Spot". Even though we had a laundry appliance glitch (in no way any fault of anyone) the owner was extremely supportive and helpful and this did not mar our vacation, but instead I include this because I felt so very respected by the host. Top marks and I would definitely recommend this home.
This is a spacious and beautiful home. It has all the necessary modern amenities and the location is a quiet neighborhood. Honestly the loudest thing around is the morning roster! I took one star off for cleanliness because it had that musty smell houses in rainy areas get and that lasted for a few days even with windows open. Other than that, we had no complaints. Beds were comfortable, outdoor shower was a treat. Would stay here again if I ever return to Kauai!
We stayed with our 2 teens, adult daughter, and grandma. This was a great place for each of us to have room to spread out. The patio and main room were great for family meals and gatherings. The house had everything we needed from beach towels, chairs, snorkels, boards, and bikes. I loved having a washer and dryer on site and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The grocery store is within walking distance. So many good things about this property. We will definitely stay here again.
We loved staying in this comfortable north coast home in Kauai! It was ideal for our family of 5 (parents and 3 young adults).
The home was absolutely lovely and very well-equipped. We have stayed in many rental homes and this one blew them all away! Ben was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our family vacation wonderful and relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped with pretty good pans and just about everything else you would want for a gourmet kitchen. They even had a rice cooker! The hosts provide everything to make your stay nice, down to the small touches like trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent! These seem like small things, but when you are only renting a home for a week it is frustrating to have to buy 40 trash bags and extra toilet paper or bring your own laundry detergent. Really appreciated the big and small things. The fresh fruit trees were amazing as well! We had fresh limes, lemons, star fruit and oranges and they were ALL delicious! There is an avocado tree as well, but none were ripe enough while we were there. The kids enjoyed picking (and eating) the fresh fruit! Overall, A+. We will definitely rent again upon our next return to Kauai (if it’s still available after all of the glowing reviews!).
