It is a nice small studio for the price, especially on Kauai. It is right on the ocean, so you can take the small 500 ft walk back, and the ocean is right there, which is beautiful. The place was well-kept and we didn't have issues. The wifi may cut out on your phone sometimes, but it's most likely due to being so close to the ocean, and it didn't happen enough to be a big issue. Overall, would stay again.

Aloha,I was expected a clean( newly washed sheet, towels,bathroom curtain..) but none of that was delivered to us.Did I mentioned the roof was leaking right above the TV from the unit above. With the cleaning fee that we had to pay, 125, I think I expected much better, cleaner room.The room has no window and may I suggested that the owner should add that in the room description( it was not mention in the room description). The owner, at first mentioned that there will be no AC for our unit due to trade wind and cool temperatures of Kauai therefore no AC needed?????Our unit look like a storage room since there are more than 4 potable fans and 2 vacuum was stored ant our unit.The bed located right at the entrance and it was so closed to our bed that my boyfriend had to sleep on the wrong side of the bed ( closed to the door) for my safety. We only stayed for 1 night but it was not an pleasant experience, unfortunately.

Clean, comfortable bed, a little noisy from adjoining rooms and street traffic, close to safeway for food , affordable.

I was extremely happy with my stay. The location was perfect right on the beach and across the street from a shopping center and restaurants.
The room itself had everything you needed, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with coffee make, microwave and refrigerator

Kauai Kalani was the best location and stay that I have enjoyed in Kauai, ever. I regularly return to visit my childhood home, and I will always try to book here in the future, now that I know!

David's condo is suitable for 2 people. It is furnished with a king sized bed and is actually very spacious for a studio. We loved starting each day by opening our front door, cup of coffee in hand, and walking less than 50 yards to the beach to watch the sunrise. The location was perfect for us because it is halfway between the north and the south. If you have excursions planned like hiking, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, or exploring remote beaches, then this condo will be just right for you. If you are looking for a place where you want to spend the bulk of your visit and cook your meals in-unit, then you might be disappointed here. We loved our stay here and we would book again. The communication with our host was excellent from start to finish and the property as a whole is very well taken care of. It is quiet here, too. As a bonus, each time you drive out of the complex, you are facing a beautiful Wyland mural that you get to admire.

We had a busy schedule planned for our Kauai trip, so we didn't intend to do much more than sleep and shower in our room. If that's your intention, this could be a good choice, as both the bed and shower worked well. This was one of the cheapest rentals we could find on the island, so that was nice too. In addition, if you intend to travel to both the north and south parts of the island, this is a good central location, as it's about an hour to the furthest point in either direction. We did use the frig and microwave for quick snacks, and those also worked well. There's also a good ceiling fan and mini-split cooling system.
However, this should not be viewed as a luxury accommodation. The room is small, and the furnishings are low end. The louvered windows let in some air, but flow-through cooling doesn't really happen. And leaving them open removes all privacy for the bedroom, which is just inside those windows. Depending on the climate you're used to, this may be adequate. But if you struggle with sleeping under warm, humid conditions, you'll need to use the in-room cooler. This is also a joint room, meaning it has a locked common door for those who would like to share two connected rooms. But this door is far from sound-proof. This is true for the walls and ceilings as well. Unless your neighbors are very quiet, you will hear a lot of talking, walking, plumbing sounds, etc.

Very clean room with AC! Included plenty of clothes hangers, towels, and dishes. Only downside was no laundry but there is a laundromat just a 7 minute walk away. Would recommend to stay here!

We loved our stay!!! The room is bigger than pictures show, bed was quite comfy and the bathroom very nice. While just a kitchenette of sorts, with a mini fridge/freezer, there was also a coffee pot and quite a few kitchen amenities such as a knife and cutting board, utensils and wine opener! Lots of fans and a mini split ac unit if needed, but we used the louvered window to get some nice air in the room! While not
Ocean side, we were right around the corner from the ocean and the pool! The grills were great as was the ping pong room right there to have fun while we cooked our food! The location was super ideal, very central to go north or south, lots of restaurants, Starbucks and grocery nearby! Boss Frog rental was also close!
