Great location. Just like the pics. Kitchen well equipped and the pool just a short walk across the parking lot. Used the toys to go to the beach. Had a problem with the door lock (electronic so these things happen) but Kristin was there to work on it literally within 5 minutes. Lock was replaced. Would stay there again.

This condo is reasonably nice, though in need of some attention. The screen doors to the patio needed new screens and rollers and the master bathroom sInk drained a bit slowly. These things were minor but two others were not: 1. The unit is not air conditioned. We suffered for our mistake of booking it in August.2. Roosters are everywhete. They are territorial and NOISY. At all hours.One alpha enjoyed crowing throughout the night... at,say, 3,4,5,6 AM RIGHT UNDER OUR BEDROOM WINDOW. Difficult to enjoy a vacation on no sleep.For these reasons, I would not rent this unit again.
Found place to be a bit dated and noisy. Roosters crawling keeps you awake starting 4am and it was difficult to shut close windows due to broken handles. Although the place is at a convenient location won’t stay here in future trips.
Amazing place, I would come back in a heartbeat. The host never answered my questions prior to the stay.
We enjoyed the condo. It was clean and had everything we needed. It also had a pool with a hot tub that we enjoyed and there were 4 Weber gas grills that were clean and well maintained. Nearby beaches were great as well. We would go back again. We had a great stay on Kauai.
Our three-night stay as a family of 4 at this condo was fine, but not amazing. The condo had a couple of issues (one toilet not working properly and one light/fan glitching causing the light in our kids’ room to turn on repeatedly). The property manager was great - very responsive and happy to help get issues fixed. The fixtures were also dated and that combined with location, lack of a/c (which meant windows needed to be open at all times and kids were woken by roosters at night (not a unique issue)) left us feeling like it wasn’t worth what we paid for it. Next time we stay in Princeville, we’ll sacrifice the partial ocean view for closer proximity to Hanalei.
Great location. Perfect for 2 couples or small family. The pocket door essentially turns the 2 twins into a guest suite with bathroom. Would stay again
We have been to Kauai many time and stayed at many many places. Your condo at Ali'i Kai was the perfect little getaway location for us. The development was very nice but not too crowded. The unit was close to the pool and had a lovely patio overlooking a lush ravine and a little ocean view. We had all of the beach toys and kitchen gadgets we could ever need. We will definitely return!!!
This location had gorgeous views and a sense of serenity,. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy the surrounding amenities. We would definitely return.
All amenities on the cheaper side. Sheets were very poor and lowest quality. Pillows were uncomfortable and extra ones had no pillows covers. Toilet paper not stocked. Cheap toaster wouldn’t hold one slice of bread. Some window openers broken and didn’t work. Lighting horrible in bathrooms and bedrooms. Would not stay here again. Not enough laundry detergent to wash the towels they expected us to.
Condo was great. Clean, well equipped. Nice pool near by. No ac….which was no problem with beautiful ocean breezes but the roosters were loud starting at 3am. After our first night the fans provided nice white noise!

Loved our stay here! The pool is just out the front door which made using the grill easy for us. Pictures in the listing are accurate to the condo. Close by grocery store and restaurants, just a short drive to Hanalei town too! Perfect lodging for our group of 4.
This princeville condo is just as described with a perfect location in front of the pool area. The backyard has a semi view of the ocean. The condo was clean, comfortable and full of supplies to make our stay. Communication with the property manager/owner is easy with clear instructions. There’s a foodland right outside of Princeville for some groceries. Perfect vacation at a perfect location!!
Location was ideal, the beds were super comfortable after days with exploring (cushioning yet firm) and the unit's amenities made for a brief yet memorable stay. The benefit of a washer and dryer in the unit, clean clothing items while vacationing and returning home. The large patio doors allowed for the outside setting to come inside. 10 min drive - close to Hanalei for the beach, touring and food.
The condo was perfect for our needs and in a wonderful location. Nice home base from which to explore the island. Grocery store and beautiful walking path nearby. Lovely back garden from the patio to watch the sunset. The manager was very responsive and helpful.
This condo is well maintained, very comfortable, totally clean, and well located for visiting the gorgeous beaches and other sights of northern Kauai. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking for a two-bedroom getaway stay.
We were happy with the condo and its location in Princeville. Basically, it was just as presented in VRBO. We had to use a car to do anything outside of swimming in the condo pool, but we were not surprised.
Property exactly like pictures. Place was spotless clean and well equipped, we did not miss anything.The place is comfortable and beds are great. Location good for trips around the islandKauai.
Perfect spot for exploring the North Shore of Kauai. Food and beaches just minutes away. My family also took advantage of the on-site pool and hot tub. Would stay here again.
Property was nice, updated and clean. We had a good vacation. Minor repairs would have made it so much
The Pool was amazing, and the view from the Lanai was incredible. Beach supplies were helpful. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom and showers. Fun experience.
Overall we had no issues with the unit. Everything we needed was there. While not a new unit, it was in very nice shape. There were a couple issues which the property manager quickly took care of, so all in all it was good and we would certainly return.
Unfortunately the resort hot tub was out of order for the week, but that was not a problem with the unit, just the resort. We just spent more time on the beach!.

Property was as advertised. Good location. Drama free (always welcome)! Beach equipment availabilty was hugely appreciated.
Furniture is a little dated (didn’t really bother us frankly). The only ding is the lack of A/C which was clearly communicated. It could get a little warm at night but the bigger issue was nighttime noise from the parking lot and the roosters in the morning. Just kind of amplified it because all the windows had to be open.
All in all would not hesitate to recommend.
