We enjoyed our stay. David was friendly and helpful with directions. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was great and the refrigerator and microwave and toaster were appreciated. Would love to stay here again.

Great neighborhood, easy access to Grand Hyatt (where our relatives were staying). Clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the walls are thin and you can't help hearing some of the conversations and phone calls from the people in the unit next door and in the house.
This was a huge disappointment. The carpet was filthy and the outside was a tiny table, e chares staring at the neighbors fence. It could be fairly cute but alot of updating and cleaning needs to be done.
Nice little spot, I thought it was kind of expensive but I guess for the area it's not bad. Host answered every question and were very nice. I think the cleaning lady forgot to add toilet paper roll but that's not anyone's fault
Me and my boyfriend stayed here. This is a room off the main house. Some felt the listing was misleading but if you read details it’s clear. This could not be a more perfect location. We walked to Skipwreck Beach, the hike there at shipwreck, Poipu Beach, Puka Dogs, saw the turtles, used the pool, and rented bikes. This is an intimate stay with a perfect location.David was accommodating and we were able to check in early to get ready for our luau. Loved every minute of Kaui.
All the comforts you need for people who are only spending the nights. Perfect if you plan to be sightseeing, beach combing, eating out, touring…during the day. Older home, with older carpet & furnishings, in a real nice neighborhood.
If you want a simple place in Poipu this is it. Has ac and an easy walk to the pathway that leads you to the ocean. Great for both sunrise and sunsets. Excellent location. If you want real fancy, not the place. Comfortable bed. Very Quiet, loved that. Wonderful host!
This was not at all as advertised. I would like a refund of at least a portion of the fees. We didn’t even stay the night.
Davids llace is nice, it is a room located off his main house with a private patio. Perfect for what we needed, and close to the Hyatt and Poipu beach.

The location was great for the activities we had planned. Our host, David, was very gracious in offering information on the area and even providing a map for us!
The location was great- we could get to so many places easily and quickly, several beaches and hiking was also close by. There were beach chairs and boards available for us to use, which was great! Although there was no air conditioning, there were fans available which kept us comfortable.

This property was a great home base for all of our activities. We arrived late at night and were unsure where to go as it was dark. The unit is located on the side of the house. Owner is wonderful and friendly.
This condo is located in quiet environment, and the facilities were enough for me. I really satisfied to stay in Kauai.

We found the listing misleading. The listing did not make it clear that this is a guest room off of a residential home. It's more of a neighborhood than a resort. There was only a small latch (not a keyed lock) separating the main house from the bathroom. There was mold in the bathroom and growing on the lampshades. We did not feel comfortable staying here and ended up leaving. In hindsight it should have been a red flag when there wasn't a picture of the outside of the actual bulding in the listing.
We really enjoyed visiting with the owner-a very nice man! This is an easy walk to some beautiful beaches, a great location! This is a room attached to the main house with a private entrance. It has all the basics needed, microwave and small refrigerator . It was a perfect location for many fun excursions , walks to see the sunset or sunrise!

The listing should make clear that the hosts live on the property in the same home. This is a room in a house, not a private space. I could hear morning and night the people talking, cheering at the television, using the restroom through the wall. Additionally, the accommodations were were not clean, ants infesting the bathroom, mold on the lamps next to the bed, screen doors that have holes, cob webs and mold on the walls and doors. This needs a full overhaul. It was cheap, and in a very good location but hearing the owners morning and night is not worth it.

Very good for a brief stay. A nice bedroom with TV, microwave, Refrig, coffee, etc.
David was so welcoming and the house is great! We loved the walking path down to the beach and had a great dinner there. Book marked this for our return to the island!!! Like a hotel but nicer and the shower was most excellent after days of camping.
Excellent value. Owners are wonderful and very respectful of privacy, while still being friendly.
