Living on the Big Island and having a vacation rental of our own, we know there is very few perfect vacation rentals, this rental has a few blemishes but about as perfect as your are going to find. The management was great and wanted to make your stay as good as they could. The view of the sunrise could not be much better anywhere. The place was very clean and compfortible and walking distance to most everything you will need for your stay. The bed was not great for me but the wife was very happy with it. All and all I have nothing bad to say about this place and we would stay here again.

The view and being right on the water and seeing and hearing the ocean Was amazing. All this condo wasn’t the most updated we’ve stayed in, it was well furnished, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for outings and the beach. The bed was super comfy and the fan and air conditioner in the bedroom were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. The rest of the condo was kept cool by the huge breeze off the water. There wasn’t a beach you could lie on, but there was a huge Lawn with loungers and the pool. There were many beaches close by. It was close to lots of restaurants and shopping and midway between the north and south sides of the island. Close to airport. Would return!

Because the condo is so comfortable and the view is wonderful,and there were nice amenities provided, we didn't mind climbing a flight of stairs and having to go to the laundry room to do our laundry. We used the Murphy's bed

Great ocean view, condo has everything we could need and more, near restaurants and stores there’s a little beach in front, the only bad part is that we had to leave

The place was very clean and looks just like the pictures featured. The kitchen was well stocked, and the air conditioning in the master bedroom worked great. The condo itself is well taken care of; however, the Kapaa Shore resort is dated and the landscaping needs some upkeep, grass is dead, paint peeling. Also, the pool area is mediocre, no umbrellas, just the bare minimum.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Kapaa Shore Resort. Great centralized location to Princeville and also Poipu Bay. Our only complaint would be the portable AC was not working in the best condition during our stay. It was not blowing out cool air the whole time we were there.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunrise. The listing said air conditioning, but it did not say that the air conditioning was only in the bedroom. That made it uncomfortable in the living room in the afternoons. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Great home base for our trip. The condo was clean and well furnished with a wonderful view of the ocean. The ac in the bedroom was very much appreciated. The lanai was the perfect place to watch the sunrise. The grounds are well kept and the pool was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo itself was clean, well-stocked, and overall as-advertised. The ocean view was beautiful. The air conditioner unit in the bedroom was very loud and didn't appear to do much, so sleeping at night was hot. The back side of the property (where we entered through) was looking a little rough, but the beautiful ocean view on the other side made up for it. The pool and hot tub were nice.

We booked the condo for our honeymoon and were immediately disappointed by the neighborhood which was pretty junky and run down. Overall the place was fine, air conditioner in bedroom is appreciated; Just wished we would have booked a nicer place for our honeymoon.
Great central location. Nice view, but no sandy beach out front. All lava. Sandy beach is further down but you have to cross private property. Pool and hot tub are nice. Portable AC unit works well for bedroom but has little impact on kitchen/living room. So can be warm for guests using the Murphy bed.

Very enjoyable and relaxing. Only negative was from the unit above us. Someone was constantly walking, (running) with a heavy foot. Enjoyed the view from the patio. Pool and hot tub were very clean, as well as the property. Ideally located central to everything.
The views are real! Waking up to the beautiful and ever-changing sunrise and ocean view was my favorite part. The Murphy bed was super comfy, plus you can hear the waves! Kitchen and bathroom were great and well stocked.
Only negative was that this area seemed to be a wind tunnel almost all the time. Due to the windy conditions, we never used the pool since we'd be chilly with the wind. The hot tub was closed in early March 2024 and we were not notified, so that was a bummer due to the wind since it was too chilly for the pool.
