The picture tells 1,000 words. Still the picture here doesn't do the view justice. We sat on the porch for hours, just enjoying miles of vast ocean waters. We also sat in the jacuzzi, BBQ'd, and ate dinner on the front porch table. The place has AC on those hot, humid days, and each bedroom has a nice, comfortable bed. Great service too!
The location was centrally located within walking distance for food & shopping. Our group enjoyed walking to the nearby beaches & the bobbing turtles were a sight to see. We had a couple of issues but the owner was very quick to get it fixed. The description of the property was spot on & look forward to staying here again.

Great little place for family of four. Close enough to walk to beaches. Far enough to be out of the resort chaos. Very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed home.
This was a perfect location near everything in Poipu without being in the midst of all the hotels. The ocean was right across the street, and the street is not incredibly busy. That said, if you're looking to be ON the beach, this home isn't. There is a sea wall with waves breaking on rocks which allowed us to watch the sea turtles in the surf endlessly!
I have only two small comments which I'm not sure I understood from the way the home is listed. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with king beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms. Our agreement with the other family of 3 adults was that we would pay half the rent if we could have the master bedroom. In this home what would be considered as the primary bedroom only had 1/2 bath (toilet/sink). We wanted our own private bathroom so we went to bedroom 3 which is considerably smaller and has a bathroom/laundry across the hall. The bedroom with the full bath has a queen size bed which also wouldn't work for us. I can't speak for the beds in the other two rooms, but I feel the one in Bedroom 3 is in need of replacing. It was not near as comfortable as the one in the previous VRBO on Oahu.
As long as you're OK with the bedroom/bathroom setup, I can highly recommend this property.

Hale Koa exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 6 adults, plenty of space for all. The property was well maintained, clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Hot tub needed some servicing but the property mgmt had someone out the same day to take care of it. Location is great, short walk to the beach by the Sheraton, short walk to shopping/restaurants in the other direction. Sunsets were amazing, either from the porch or across the road at the sea-wall. Will definitely come back.
Location was perfect. View was fantastic. We were able to do everything we wanted to do with the house as our HQ. We could also walk to most things we needed.
Bathrooms were a little small and no shower in the master bedroom.

The property is very nice and Oceanfront Realty is very responsive and helpful. The view is the best! The home is lovely, although the bathrooms are a bit small and need a little updating. The kitchen is great -- well laid-out and lots of space in fridge and cabinets. The only downside is that the road in front of the house could get a bit busy at times - lots of cars, walkers, bike riders, motorcycles going by, and some that park outside the house to watch the sunset. Can't blame folks - the sunsets are pretty amazing!We loved that there were really good shops and restaurants just minutes away.All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay, loved sitting out on the porch reading and watching the ocean! We really appreciated the folks at Oceanfront Realty, too.

This house is all about the yard, the front porch and the view! It literally extends the property, it is amazing and we spent most of our time there. Beaches and food option are just a short walk away. The kitchen was so generously stocked with everything you would need. The only downside is that I do feel the mattresses all need to be replaced.
