Overall, the most wonderful location! Quiet, views of whales, lovely walks. The furniture is showing it's age, but the unit is well stocked and very clean. Thank you, Rick!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa. Particularly appreciated how clean everything was, the luxurious towels, comfortable bed, and extremely well equipped kitchen since we enjoy barbecuing and eating in much of the time. Would definitely return.
Another terrific stay at Kapalua, and very nice returning to this unit in the Bay Villas. Kind and welcoming host! Clean, convenient and beautiful location. Beach, playing golf, PGA Tour’s The Sentry, and evenings grilling poolside among the highlights.

Location is absolutely terrific, with waves, whales, walks and birds part of our daily routine. The unit is peaceful and quiet, and has everything you need. The couch sofa-bed needs replacing, and the living room furniture is showing it's age, but that's minor compared to all the positives.
Fabulous location. Clean and comfortable. Very convenient for golf at Kapalua Bay Course and attending PGA Tour's The Sentry at Kapalua Plantation Course. Enjoyable morning walks around Kapalua resort, exercise classes at Montage and Ritz, beach afternoons, and winding down our evenings with poolside BBQs. Whenever we have the good fortune of returning to Maui, we always start by checking availability of this villa.
We have stayed in several Maui properties over the years but this was by far my favorite. The location is perfect and the view of the ocean from the lanai is pristine. We were able to walk almost anywhere in the area (Kapalua beach, Napili beach, the Ritz Carlton for drinks and dinner, Merriman’s, D.T. Fleming beach, etc). The condo itself has everything you might need, (including the requisite Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella) with a comfortable bed and nice linens. Would love to go back!! Thanks Rick for everything.
One bedroom villa was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The ocean view was stunning and we enjoyed it from the patio every day. We could also see the pool from our unit which was not crowded at all. Short walk to the wonderful beach, and we also walked down the trail/boardwalk to the Ritz Carlton which was lovely. Owner was very knowledgeable and easy to work with!
Very clean which is very important to us. View was spectacular. Accommodations were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Will stay here again since we come to Kapalua twice a year.
I told my husband that, if heaven is like this, I won't complain! This is the nicest accommodation we've had anywhere--hotel or condo--and we've stayed in some beautiful places! Immaculately clean, bright, well-appointed, spacious, quiet, and of course there's that stunning view of the ocean. The entire complex is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to wander around. Overall, this is a sanctuary that fills one with peace. Even on days when it was too rainy or windy to spend much time outside, we enjoyed watching the waves from indoors.
The photos are accurate and, in fact, do not do the unit justice--it's even more beautiful. The owner and property manager are a pleasure to work with.
The location on the Kapalua Coastal Trail is wonderful (it's why we chose this unit). We walked along the trail to breakfast at the Seahouse Restaurant and lunch at the Ritz Carlton's Burger Shack. What a perfect way to start the day!
We did not do any cooking--we just heated leftovers--so cannot comment on how well stocked the kitchen is.
Two caveats: There are not a lot of restaurants within a short drive or walk. When we come back here, we'll pack some staples and plan on preparing some simple meals in the unit.
And there's a fairly long flight of steps from the driveway down to the unit. Some people might have trouble getting heavy luggage up and down the steps. I solved the problem by removing a few heavy items before taking my luggage up the steps, then repacking them.
