Condo was great , right by the beach with great view. Enjoyed the sunrise and sound of the sound of waves by room.
Could ask for a better place to stay . Took many walk down at the beach perfect relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Great place to stay if you want to stay next to the water.

Nice little unit, right on the ocean. We sat on our patio in the mornings to watch the sunrise. We are just steps from a small beach, perfect for watching the surfers.
Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is something I have wanted to experience my whole life—our stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

The view is unbelievable. Place is on the small size, but has everything. Nice greating package, beach chairs, mat, umbrella, fantastic patio seating, snorkel gear and flippers. Fully stocked kitchen.
This cute little studio condo is literally 50 ft from a little fairly private beach and the ocean. The views are spectacular from the lanai. The condo has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. It is easy walking distance from several restaurants and a fun shopping center with eateries, shops and a market. Also, it easy driving from this location to Kauai's other attractions.

Nice complex with well kept grounds and old Hawaii charm. The full kitchen is a definite plus. The bed was comfortable. The location on what I've always fondly called "Little Beach" is perfect and spectacular.
Unfortunately, management is lacking. There is no local person to call if assistance is needed. I agree with others that Vacasa is NOT a desirable vacation rental management and owners must avoid them to maintain healthy reviews and happy guests.
They instruct guests here at Kapaa Sands to check in at the office and get a parking pass, but there is no office or any onsite management. Requests for late check in or out are pretty much ignored. And the cleaning needs to be improved.
We had an incident with a cane spider and had to take the whole bed apart and turn it upside down to get him out. It is filthy under there. There are dead bugs in the kitchen drawers but thats kind of normal here. I wash everything before we use it, but must report that I found that the dishes and cookware, for the most part, were not washed properly. The shower tiles are moldy but thankfully I found some bleach to spray in there.
Its a long review, just to let future guests know what to expect. I do like this place and really enjoyed my stay, but if I was the owner, I would be sure these things were clear to guests and/or taken care of. Folks spend a lot to come here, and we deserve cleanliness and kind attention to detail.
