The condo was as expected based on the description and reviews. This was a nice and roomy condo right off the ocean. We were about 15 minutes from Kona, but stores and shops right up the street. We were also close to Keauhou Bay where we took a catamaran snorkeling, swimming with the Manta Rays, and went to the Outrigger Luau, which is about a 5 minute drive. There were 3 pool areas with Jacuzzis. There is not really a beach area close by, just a small one right off the property that is ok to walk on the rocks.Pros- Large roomsComfy beds with a mattress topper on each king bed (we went home and bought a mattress topper).Laundry with supplied podsStocked well- make sure to check spices etc. before going to the store.Games, puzzles, and booksPool and ocean stuff (boogie boards, snorkeling gear, ice chest, chairs, beach towels...they have it all)Cons- not manyOnly 4 low quality pillows on each bed (these are king beds. Would've liked two more, perhaps two feather pillows or fluffy ones. Almost bought my own. It didn't bother my husband, but I am particular about my pillows.Table on the Lanai is low and the railing blocks the view of the ocean. A pub high table would be really nice in this space, but a spectacular view. We spend many days and nights on the lanai.Had to run the bathroom sink a long time to get hot water.That's it for cons....minor stuff. Overall, we were please with our accommodations. Would highly recommend and definitely return!
Our 5th stay at this property! Love it and hope to go next year. Great location outside the bustle of Kailua Kona but close to everything. Quite and so well appointed. Everything you need for a great vacay. Perfect in every way!
We had the most incredible stay at this property in Hawaii! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. There were 4 of us. It was a perfect Hawaiian condo. Every amenity you could ever want. First floor unit on the ocean and no one was above us during our stay. You do get use to the ocean noise. The owners were very accommodating allowing us to enter the unit earlier than suggested arrival time. We would definitely consider a repeat stay in the future. The property was beautiful. I love this location on the Kona side of the island.
Our stay was wonderful. Close to dining, groceries, golf and snorkeling. The pantry was well stocked, the sounds of the surf were wonderful. I expect we'll be back!
Wondrous location, wave sounds and heavenly beds extolled zen quality sleep, hollywood movie sunsets and sunrises. Nicely furnished, glorious showers, and a native motif. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped (even had a microplane). Couple of issues: mildew in washer (easily cleaned by running a cycle with a bath towel), handle on pocket door to masterbath was broken (very difficult to open pocketdoor, if door was completly closed). However would NOT HESITATE to stay again.
The photos for this listing do not do it justice! The view was like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Spending time on the balcony was one of our favorite parts of our trip. Perfect angle for sunsets too. Condo was great! Very well stocked, clean and very comfortable. We felt right at home
The property is located close to town. Sits right on the water so you can see the waves crashing. Highly recommended.
We ended our 2 week trip in Hawaii here for the last 3 nights and it was so relaxing. We just got food at the local Market (KTA Superstore) and hunkered down to enjoy the waves, weather and pool. The bed is very comfortable and we will definitely stay again, but next time longer!

Very comfortable condo, breathtaking ocean front views from every window! You could easily cook a holiday meal with the fully stocked kitchen. The property has 3 pools so everyone will be happy, ocean front, quiet pool and family pool. The sunsets and moonsets were AMAZING, and we didn't have to leave our lanai or living room to catch the show.

The pictures dont do it justice, it is beautiful, roomy, clean and right on the ocean. The sounds of the waves crashing is so soothing. The location was perfect for us to explore south or north, and it was great for down days. Will return!ocean.ill
I have stayed in many VRBO’s but this place is above and beyond stocked with everything you need. Plenty of pots and pans plates cups utensils and cooking utensils. Probably better stocked than my own kitchen. The view from the front lanai is exactly as pictured. Pool is super close. Highly recommend this place.
What a beautiful place. Easy to find, easy to check in, safe, quiet, great pools. Couple of restaurants and pizza place plus grocery store and Longs drugstore just up the hill. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
This property is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The sound of the crashing waves was intoxicating. You see the water from every room. Coffee on the Lani every morning is a great start to the day. Loved being close to town but not close enough to have noise. This unit is the BEST in the complex for location. The beds are very comfortable and the furnishings are very nice. Loved our stay here!!
The condo is very well appointed with a fabulous ocean view. It is in a great location south of Kailua-Kona but close enough to be an easy drive to the boat harbor if you or someone in your group is scuba diving. It is an easy drive to Captain Cook, The place of Refuge, and 2 step for great snorkeling. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. They have beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs and a beach umbrella available to make your life easier. We enjoyed playing games on the lanai while watching the sunset. We had a few issues during our stay and Suzanne was very responsive and quickly took care of them. I will definitely recommend this condo to my friends and would happily stay here again.
A private ocean front unit! Love assigned parking & hearing the ocean from our rooms. Well stocked, everything worked great. Friendly staff. Easy to get in a d out of complex & almost no stairs which we love more & more as we age. Just lovely!
The condo is all, and then some, of what it is represented to be. In my 40 years of coming to the islands, this is the best. I shouldn’t rate it so high as it may not be available when I want to come back.
Had a great time, unit was well equipped, nicely furnished and very quiet. The unit is waterfront and the view is spectacular. No complaints other than the VRBO app didn't send check in instructions. We spoke directly with the owner and all turned out fine. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful decor and amenities in this spacious, first floor condo overlooking the ocean. Covered deck to enjoy ocean views. Well-equipped kitchen with everything you need and more. Luxurious linens and towels. 5-star accommodations!
Not only does this condo have the perfect view, right on the ocean, but it also has everything you could need for your stay on the Big Island. We were there for a family wedding (two couples stayed in the condo) and hosted a few family meals and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed! Extra plates, serving dishes, spices, you name it. Not to mention all the beach toys needed for a day out. The pools are a short walk from the condo. But we all agreed the view and hearing the ocean crashing as you’re falling asleep was amazing. The owners were easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend staying in this condo. We had stayed at the Kanaloa condos before but not this condo, and this was beyond great!

We had a fantastic stay at this waterside condo. The sound of the waves crashing was very pleasant. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to do some cooking or keep some leftovers. The patio was the perfect place to watch the sunset every evening. We would 100% come back to this place in the future. Probably our favourite vacation rental to date. Communication was easy and quick.
