Excellent unit with two lanais, one with golf course view and another towards the nearby quiet pool. Very nice one bedroom layout.
Check in was easy. Straight forward instructions for using the key pad. The kitchen was spacious and I had every pot, pan, utensils I needed. My 8yo enjoyed making smoothies every morning with the blender provided, so that was a plus.
We like the location and the ease of check-in/check-out.
We enjoyed the view of the golf course and the ocean side pool. The location was quiet being away from Ali'i drive. It was a reasonable drive to restaurants and beaches. The ice maker wasn't operable so ice cube trays, a minor annoyance. One of the other units was tented and treated for pests while we were there. Assuming we'd have been told if there was any danger. The condo is as pictured, location couldnt be more pristine, clean and secure. While there were a couple of things that required attention, one email and it was scheduled and done. We were impressed with the.
Kanaloa is a community resort feeling along the ocean front with spectacular sunsets. The one bedroom condo is located near the adult quiet pool and hot tub. A 1/4 mile walk up the volcano to the Keahoe shopping center with a variety of retail shops, restaurants, grocery outlets along with movie complex. A great Saturday morning Farmers market.
This is a very large, very nice condo, perfect for two! Appreciate the beach supplies, appreciate the AC and W&D. Keypad front door is helpful too. Really love this complex and the three pool options. Only thing that would have made it more comfortable would be more private blinds in all rooms since it’s a ground floor complex. The blinds are still see through at night. Also it’s close to the parking lot which was noisy at times. Not a game changer tho! Would stay again!
We stayed here for two weeks without any issues at all. 3 pools in our complex with one being ocean view. Easy access to the main roads.
The main thing is the contact between us, VRBO and the complex always making sure we were happy and that everything was going smoothly. Will definitely stay here again.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff great location. Beautiful grounds. The 3 pools are a plus. We would stay here again only downside is the uncomfortable sofa pull out mattress. The bed was amazing tho. And couch not so bad when not pulled out.

We enjoyed the unit and the people we met at this complex. The complex had construction going on and so it was very loud to sit out by the pool and relax. They also had several units being worked on above our unit which was unfortunate.
Our visit was good. Don’t know how often the units do construction, but between that and paving it was noisy in the morning. Great location for exploring
This was a last minute rental and it came in very handy. The only problem was the upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy. We have always enjoyed this area on the Big Island.
I booked this accommodation for a conference at a nearby hotel. I enjoyed it very much, the unit was clean, well appointed and very comfy. I especially liked the parking to front door convenience. I would most definitely book again if available. We had email contact with manager which provided clear check in instructions and they were delivered in a timely manner with a reminder cntaining the same information on the day we arrived, this was very helpful not having to scroll thru my inbox to find the message standing at the door in the dark. Very thoughtful.
Clean spot in a secure neighborhood with access to multiple pools and in close proximity to all the things on West Hawaii.
Great location, amenities and environment.
Property was extremely clean and accommodating to all our needs.
Either sitting on the patio for a card game or watching the sunset at the beach pool, all was enjoyed.
