Excellent location! Place is fully equipped with beach chairs , boogie boards towels etc. kitchen stocked with oils and spices plus some coffee so no quick run to the very close stores as soon as u arrive. View is stunning!!! Listen to the ocean , watch the palm trees swaying in the wind and u may be tempted to not move. However , walking distance to a marina with tours, a fun shopping center for gifts and great restaurants. There is a hidden beach walking distance to right of parking lot . Owners set up comfort, cleanliness and nice beach vibe . I would go here again and again and again!!!!!
This wasn’t a great experience for me and 2 of my friends who rented it for 3 nights. I have stayed in VRBO’s all over the world and this was one of the worst kept up places I have rented. It feels like it has been a rental for years and the owners haven’t been keeping up with the maintenance or doing any upgrades. While it was clean, it felt dirty due to how ‘hard’ it has been used - walls are banged up and dirty and need painted, baseboards are missing, the old style tile floors are dinghy, 70’s cabinetry/countertops still exist in bathrooms & kitchen, very old/yellowed kitchen appliances, etc. Overall:Very limited hot water (runs out fast, can’t shower in both bathrooms at same time or run washer). I stayed in 2nd bedroom with one friend, so I cannot speak to the master. It had no AC, hard mattresses, ‘teeter totter’ beds (sit on end and other end pops up, room was tiny (no space to set out a suitcase), no room darkening curtains, closet was full so we can’t hang dresses or store emptied suitcases. Balcony: You have to turn off living room and bedroom AC units to be able to sit on the balcony because the AC unit sits on the balcony and it puts out so much hot air. Most of the decor is just plain weird and old. There is fabric covering a closet door, fabric is framed to pose as ‘art’. Bamboo furniture felt very old. Kitchen was fully stocked which was nice. However, no ice maker and only 2 trays to refill, awkward W/D combo in kitchen made space tight
Great vacation and condo in Maui.
Unit was well maintained and clean. Was great for our week long stay. Host provided many things we did not in order to make some breakfast and basic lunches. View of pool and ocean from back zone was very nice. Only wish was that they allowed us to use the safe in the closet. With 3000 in camera gear it would have been nice to have a better place to put it than a drawer when were out. We would stay here again.
