The unit was a real treat! This is a ground floor, end unit with great views to the ocean, the beaches and also a wonderfully landscaped green common area. Our daughter's family loved having the beach just a few steps away (across a street with low traffic volume). Great location, maybe the best in the entire Kamaole Sands development. The unit itself was very livable and comfortable for six people (four adults and two kids).For us, this was an ideal location. We were re-visiting this part of Maui to celebrate our daughter and son-in-law's 21st wedding anniversary. They were married south of this location in the Keawala'i Congregational Church in Makena. Overall, a great visit and stay!
Amazing location! Ocean view to enjoy with your morning coffee, right across the street from the beach, and walkable to many shops and restaurants. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach. Would definitely stay here again!
The unit was clean, well stocked kitchen and beach supplies. Great location with the beach across the street and nice grilling and pool area. Unfortunately, a leaky roof with rain water running down the wall through an electrical switch and pooling on the floor in our 3 and 4 year old granddaughter’s bedroom, which we felt was unsafe to be in for 24 hours, as recommended from the Condo maintenance. When we notified our Host of the situation, his attitude was absolute disrespectful and flippant and that we had options and could move the twin beds into the living room. Host could work on his conversational skills when talking with concerned guests. My reason for not giving a 5 star rating. I have videos of the flow of rainwater running through the electrical switch box if needed.
This unit at Kamole Sands is fully stocked, clean and super convenient to the beach! We had blast staying here. The pool was a hit with the kids and the sunsets across the street were a hit with the adults!

This condo is beautiful and has all the amenities and a fully ticked kitchen with seasonings and all the utensils. The lovely ocean is right across the street and we could sit on the patio and watch the sunset every night. The main highway is what separates the condo and the ocean. The traffic can be a little bit loud. Sadly, there is a man that stays across the street on a bench and seems to begin screaming around bedtime. He is harmless. Other than that, this is a great place to stay. And I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

The property was well appointed with very nice furniture.Good beds. The place was well stocked. As advertised, the beach equipment was plentiful, but FILTHY. A/C in each room. That is where the good ends. This unit has issues. We were infested with mosquitos from day 1. Woke up the first morning and we all had 5-10 bites. So we kept the windows closed as that is where we thought they were entering. Nope.When we finally needed A/C in the master bdrm, they came pouring out of that. Along with an awful musty odor. I pulled the filter out & it was packed with lint/dust. I cleaned it off & sprayed Lysol in the unit. I went to the other 3 A/C's and found filthy filters in them as well.Cleaned spraying Lysol to kill the bacteria, better. Solved, but took 5 more days to finally rid all of the mosquitos. HUGE issue is the noise. This is the end unit, right by the gate for autos & pedestrians. Everyone entering/exiting complex can be heard. There is also the stairwell right next to the master bdrm & front bdrm. Everyone on the 3 floors above that uses the stairs & lets that door slam every time they use it.Traffic noise? CRAZY. The locals use this st. to commute (windows down, rap music BLARING). ALL day long. Last is Cameron (homeless guy lives out front). Mental issues, yells, lays down in st., talks to his orange. Police, no help. KS says he's been there 2 yrs.We began coming to KS in '08, skipped last 5 years (always good units). If owners won't deal w/issues, we won't return.
Very well equipped house. Could not ask for a better location. Beautiful beach across the street and the house has all the items needed for a wonderful day at the beach or pool. Love walking to shops and restaurants!

We had a great stay at Tad & Kathy's property! The unit was spacious with a wonderful location just across the street from the beach (note that for light sleepers there is some road noise from the front bedroom). They have everything you could possibly need for the beach/pool and were responsive to our needs (even stopping by in-person when we had a sink issue). Would definitely recommend!
Our family of five enjoyed our time. Decor is great. The lanai's were wonderful to spend time on. The beach gear was very nice to have! Chairs, umbrellas, coolers, sand toys, boogie boards. Air conditioners worked well. Had everything we needed!Nice location.Had a question for Tad and Kathy and they were quick to respond!Highly recommend staying here.
The condo was spacious and well equipped for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. A very nice beach is directly across the street which was wonderful for our group with kids. The pool area is very nice and we used it many times. We could sit on our lanai and watch whales and sunsets- and enjoyed coffee every morning looking at the ocean. Tad and Kathy are very nice hosts and very responsive.
My wife and I are in our late 60's and enjoyed the ground floor no stairs layout of the property. The ocean was right outside, easy in and out with the car we rented, good location so nothing was hard to get to. We had a great time and would recommend the property to everyone. Thanks to the property managers for making the trip so easy. Mahalo, David

We were there over New Year's. It is very comfortable and had everything. Lots of good restaurants and things to do near, but we also drove all over. .island from here. It was great
We had a multigenerational trip with a group of 5 adults. The condo being on the first floor was a major positive.
We didn't use any of the amenities of the Kamaole Sands.
The unit was clean and furnished nicely.
Each room had its own AC unit (either a mini split or a stand alone unit). Only one of the bedrooms had a en suite bathroom.
Overall very convenient location at the south end of Kihei.
I would highly recommend this property.
Great location. Friendly and flexible staff.
Linens and room had some smell but they took care of it promptly (linens). Lighting in the bedroom can be improved. Outside the unit (entrance) is a smoking zone so we had a cigar smoking person on a chair for few hours every day and the smoke would waft in. Other than that we really enjoyed the place.
Ground floor across street from Kam III Beach. 2 Patios with gorgeous Sunset views. Owner did a fantastic job of providing All Beach supplies … umbrellas, chairs, towels and a fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful Experience!
We had a wonderful 5 day stay. Everything was great. We want to book this unit again!
Only issue we had was the icemaker and water dispenser wasn’t working but we just purchased ice. It kept saying change water filter but we couldn’t find one.
Condo is laid out so well and had everything we needed. Very comfy beds. Thank you

Very nice family vacation everything was great, the only real problem is that we couldn’t stay longer
The condo was very comfortable, and we enjoyed having the well-stocked kitchen and on-site BBQ’s for making some of our meals. The location is good for a short walk to a few cafes and restaurants, and perfectly positioned for a short drive to snorkeling beaches to the south, or even access to visit other parts of the island.
My family of 4 stayed here with my husbands parents in tow.There was plenty of space for all of us. The rooms are large and we had all of the things we would need for the beach, plus more!
Place was exactly what we needed! Hosts were great to deal with. Rental has lots of extras that we really appreciated including lots of beach toys, scuba gear, and a wagon (this was our favorite!). Lots of space for our family to enjoy while in Maui
Pool was also great!
Only down side was you are on a busier road but it didn’t make a difference to us.
I would highly recommend!
We loved staying here and hope to return another time! The rental was perfect for our family needs. I loved being able to sit on the lanai, see/hear the ocean and watch my children run and play in the grassy area with no worries. Coming and going was a breeze. Location was amazing, just a short walk across the street and our toes were in the sand. Mahalo for the great rental!
