On the Beach! Popular Unit A6, Gorgeous Remodel. An Ideal Location.

A solid four stars. The host could not have been more accommodating or prompt with her replies to my questions, a pleasure to work with and gave us a late check out, which was much appreciated. Wonderful to work with in every way! The condo was nice but had a weird smell. It did air out eventually. The couch was pretty nasty and needs to be replaced, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had some condiments and basic supplies including a bottle of wine! The grounds were kept in excellent shape. Super easy access to a really nice beach that was excellent for walking and watching the sunset. Not too crowded either.

Very clean room, great host, beach just steps away. Lots of things to go and do within 5-30 minutes away.

This could not have been a better location and amenities. We had 2 “major bumps in the road” which were dealt with easily with Elen’s help - power outage and cancelled return flight.

Everything was in excellent condition and all amenities were available. There was a book of available activities and restaurants.

Great location. Quaint little unit, loved the lanai and quick access to the beach and pool. The complex is quiet with small family units or other couples. We walked forever along the beach each morning… to Malaga, saw turtles really close to shore.

beautiful condo! Had all amenities needed. So great to just walk right out to the beach each morning and evening. The communication and help from Elen is amazing. You can't go wrong with this place.

Beautiful! Right on the beach. Great pool and you can walk to the beach in seconds. The walkway between the rooms is a tropical rain forest with coconut artisan works in between. Perfect location? Close to Ma’alea Harbor to the north and Kalama village to the south. We would come back to this location n

Really enjoyed how quiet the location was. Lovely garden and nice pool. Nice that some condiments were provided. Would have been nice to have more than one set of sheets and towels. And would have been nice to have in house washer/dryer. We had a great time.

Lovely property - with a beach that while we were there basically couldn’t be used as the wind just blew sand all over us. The pool was great though. The issue for us was upon arriving after 3 flights and long days to get there at 9 pm the door code on the door was dead. There was not any way into the home. We called the owner 2 times, left a message, called the emergency person no answer and no return call - went to the main office no one. Luckily we found Connie who gave us a spare key - we were to return it the next day when the manager was supposed to get with us to turn in the ONLY key for our unit. He never called or stopped by. We stopped by the office every day for the 4 days we were there to try and arrange the door brung fixed. Never heard from the owner, the manager or the emergency person! Thank goodness we had the one and only key and never lost it.

The property is in a great location. Communicating with host was very responsive.We would stay here again.

The complex property was beautiful with gorgeous gardens, outdoor lanai's, pool & outdoor spaces. The condo was small but had everything needed including beach gear.

All I can say is next time we’ll stay longer. Everything was perfect. The condo had lots of perks. Beach chairs, ice chest, patio, pool, snorkel equipment. All that and steps from the beach. Perfect getaway from the cold of Alaska. Thank you.

Wonderful time in Maui. Loved the condo and the closeness to shopping and restaurants. We meet a few of the owners. They were very welcoming. Hated to leave

It’s so well equipped, comfortable, conveniently located and a good value, that we could have stayed here for the entire two weeks and reach everywhere on the island relatively easily.

We had a wonderful week at Ellen’s condo. She was so welcoming and informative throughout our stay. Great location for beach walks and going to Sugar Beach Bake shop for Malasadas and the Kihei Farmers Market to get smoothies and fresh fruit. Whales were fun to watch from the lawn area. Be aware that Kihei Sands is in a low spot and flooded while we were there. If bad weather is forecast take it seriously. Ellen was incredibly helpful and swiftly dispatched her A-Team to clean up the water that seeped in. S. Kihei Road was closed due to mud and debris. A very rare occurrence. It just added to our Maui adventure! Would definitely come again but different time of year.

Great place

This 1 bedroom condo was actually steps away from the beach. Nice little patio to enjoy morning coffee with my sweetheart. The property was beautiful and welcoming. All outdoor shared space: patio, umbrellas, sun chairs, bbq, pool were perfect. Lots of friendly vibes. This unit had everything we needed. We loved our walks on the beach and close proximity to shopping, snorkeling and great restaurants. A hidden gem.

Had a great stay. The unit was efficiently and pleasantly laid out. No real view but the patio that is shared was lovely and people really engaged and had fun with their new neighbors. There is beautiful tropical foliage and cute geckos along the walkway. Long nice beach, other than that drive to great activities like snorkelying, boating and upcountry. It was rather windy most days, with tradewinds off the harbor.

Very centrally located in Kihei right on the beach. very clean and as described. A great place.

Ellen was so great, answering all my questions. Her suite was outfitted with almost everything we needed. Comfy bed. Perfect kitchen. The location is one patio back from the pool which was perfect - close enough with still providing privacy- front suites have people in front of them often. Seating around the pool and in the common BBQ area always available. Beach was perfect. Very quiet. Perfect for a nice and relaxing, quiet vacation. I had read reviews about the beach being windy but we didn’t find that at all. Absolutely loved our stay.

Beautiful condo steps from the beach and pool! We were provided with every amenity possible and were so comfortable in this quaint property. We loved the wonderful Hawaiian feel here!! Our host, Elen, was very accommodating in every way!!

This little condo is the right price, right location, and right on for our needs. Picturesque landscaping, you wondered if the plants were real. Just an amazing little place.

We loved our stay in A6! A very delightful, well appointed unit right on the beach. We grabbed our coffee/breakfast and sat on the lounge chairs every morning to watch the ocean and rowers and even a rainbow during our stay. It was the perfect location to reach other parts of the island too. We were a half hour or less (usually less) to explore other beaches and sights all over the island would definitely stay here again on another trip to Maui.

I brought my own press pot for morning coffee but if I wanted to prepare a five course meal icluding dessert, it would have been a synch!

This condo is beautifully appointed. Everything you need is here and is top-notch! The location can't be beat. Right on Sugar Sand Beach, which surprisingly was never crowded at all. There is a nice pool, outdoor BBQs, new patio furniture and lounges, plus a nice grassy area. The owner, Elen, was a delight to communicate with!

My daughter actually took the trip. I just did the booking. Here's what she and her fiance (they just got engaged up on Haleakala) had to say: "The condo was perfect. Beautiful, clean, full kitchen, free coffee, beach supplies. Everything we needed plus more. Best part: to get to the beach you walk out the condo door, go down the hall, pass the pool and there is the beach right in front of you. No road to cross... it's all just there. Ideal location in an ideal community. We loved the condo. We loved the beach. We loved Kihei. Counting the days until we can go back." From my side, Elen was great to work with. Her communication was excellent. She kept us totally on top of things and had great recommendations for things to do, places to eat as well as where to rent the car! My daughter also mentioned that check-out was a breeze. There wasn't a mountain of chores to do like some short term rentals. They totally appreciated that as well. Everything was 10 out of 10! Thank you!!

Elen was an excellent host, she was timely with all the information for her condo and then she also had so many recommendations of places to go on the Island. I would highly recommend staying at this location. I will book again on my next trip to the Islands. A few things had changed since my last visit to Maui that I just wanted other guests to keep in mind if they book a trip. If you do the Road to Hana and want to visit the black sand beach they require reservations. Also if you want to do the Sunrise on Mt Haleakala you will want to book that early, they sell out a month in advance. I will say we did not get a reservation and got a recommendation from a local that stated the sunset is just as gorgeous and you don’t need reservations for that. We did that and she did not disappoint, it was Breathtaking!!!

Beautiful property fully enjoyed our stay. The beach is steps away. Pool area and patio is very nice. Unit is very nice, clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at your place, Elen! In our minds this is a hidden gem….it’s the perfect location to have a low key relaxing vacation and just a short drive to restaurants and shops. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and my husband’s 50th birthday here and had a wonderful time!

We stayed in this lovely, beach condo for 9 days and truly loved the accommodations. The property was exactly as posted and had every amenity you could want. Elen was a perfect host and was there for us at any moment. We met so many other guest staying there and learned some have been coming to Kihei Sands for years. I’ll miss walking the beach and those beautiful sunsets. We truly were sad to leave but can’t wait to return. Lastly, just a short walk down the beach for coffee, bakery and grocery store. Just a perfect location. Mahalo

A6 is a wonderful, comfortable unit on the beach. The owner Elgin answered all our questions and as outfitted the unit with everything you need for your stay. Our weather was mainly sunny, but with some high winds, it made swimming in the ocean impossible. The pool and patio very nice and being a small complex you were able to meet very friendly people staying here. You need to drive to restaurants and there is no “nightlife” in this area to enjoy. Maui is beautiful with many sights to take in and magnificent sunsets every night. Mahalo
