We had a wonderful time at this condo. Great location by the pool and short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed using the boogie boards, beach chairs and sand toys at the beach. Only bummer was the hot tub on the property was broken (no heater) for the duration of our stay. Otherwise we had a great stay!
The condo was in a great location in South Maui. There was a beach just across the road. The group appreciated the ground level floor. Property manager was great to communicate with and responded quickly. During our trip we needed a new beach chair and hairdryer and they were delivered within hours with no issues. Thank you for a great trip.
I would definitely stay in this unit again. The two bedroom unit was ideal for our family of 4 and had everything we needed to be very comfortable and entertained for our stay. The ground floor entry was so nice and close to the pool and made for an easy access to green space for the kids to run around. The grounds at this complex are really well taken care of and nice to look out at and enjoy a coffee in the morning r a drink later in the day! The only small thing to note is that this unit has two showers and no tub for kids. Otherwise, there was a wagon, toys, chairs boogie boards, towels and more!
Loved all the beach stuff—sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, and a wagon to cart it all down to the beach. The unit is well equipped in the kitchen and provided everything we needed for our week long stay. Close to the pool and a big grassy area right out the lanai for the kids to run around.
There was some construction happening in our building but the property manager notified us ahead of time and offered us a different unit or a discount. I really appreciated how up front they were about it.
Nicely modernized, furnished, and equipped 2 bedroom ground-floor unit. Having AC in the main area and both bedrooms is a real bonus. Never had a bad stay at Kamaole Sands!
This was our 4th time at Kamaole Sands so we knew what to expect. Ground floor unit is great and spacious. I cooked all our meals and was pleasantly surprised to find sharp knives and pretty much everything I needed there. Had an issue with the microwave and property manager was very responsive, all is good. Lots of towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. We'd rent this unit again as we appreciate the layout including the second bedroom with two twin beds. Thanks!
Third time at Kam Sands! Nice clean unit, love building 5 and ground floor is a must! Great beach gear in unit. Clean floors, nice clean bath and beach towels. Clean bed linens! Kitchen needed a little TLC, purchased a new cheap coffee maker after day one, mildew and crusty…normal for the volume these units see…but grossed us out a little. Everything was great! Love Maui!!!!
My family had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo. First impression was how clean it was! Then how nicely updated and decorated it was. We felt "at home" immediately. Towels were luxurious and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some! There is a closet full of beach gear. Anything you would need for a family beach day. Loved the sweet welcome gift left on the table when we arrived. This is the first condo we have ever said would get our repeat business.
Matt was very accommodating and helpful. My family had a lovely, memorable stay. It was truly the perfect place. And did I mention how clean!!?!
This condo is exactly as pictured! Such a beautiful condo! We absolutely loved our time at this property and did not want to leave! It has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation, minus snorkels, which we picked up at Walmart. Beach chairs, towels, pool noodles (and the good thick ones from Costco!)
This condo is a beautiful walk out right behind the pool area. The grounds of the complex were stunning! And it’s a 2 min walk across the street from the beach. Perfect area of south Kihei- walking distance to shops, restaurants, and close to kalama village shopping area. We highly recommend Ulua beach- we saw whales from shore, tons of sea turtles all 3 times we went, and it has a great snorkeling reef off shore. Overall, we hated to leave. I’d only want to stay at this condo complex when we come back again- it’s gorgeous and the pool area is so large and accommodating for lots of people. Nothing but great things to say about it!

This unit is a really good location. Right next to the pool and I love the ground floor patio. I’ve stayed in other units at this resort. I liked this location of this unit best, but liked the cleanliness of some other units more. The only downsides of this unit are fixable problems. There were lots of fruit flies and we killed 3 cockroaches. The couch could use a steam clean too. But again, overall good. Loved the well stocked beach supplies and I found left over aloe and laundry detergent.

We really enjoyed this condo. My family loved the location, it was especially nice being ground level with easy access to the beach, bbq and pool. The condo was very clean and had most everything we needed. The only complaints we had was the pull out bed was uncomfortable -you could feel the springs. Also maybe a few more dishes would be nice. Otherwise we were all very happy with our stay and appreciated our hosts flexibility with our canceled flight and being able to extend our stay.
Overall great experience. The room and property were great. Would definitely stay here again
Husband and I stayed here with 4 teens. The kids especially enjoyed the 20 second walk to the pool. The extra beach accessories were also a huge hit (boogie boards, chairs, cooler, towels ). The condo is a good size for a group of 6 and in a convenient location (short walk to beach, general store, shave ice, food). The condo has everything you need if you want to cook a meal or have a chill movie night.
