We loved the condo as well as the complex and proximity to the beach!
VRBO used to stand for vacation rentals by owner but these days so many of these units are run by property managers. The problem is you move in and there is nothing left as far as this unit didn’t even have salt and pepper. Such a shame! You used to be able to stay there and they had all sorts of Condiments and people seem to care about you settling in. Hint: find a unit that is owned by an owner. It will probably have more equipment such as Beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.. and they may even have coffee and filters and a few of the necessities to enjoy your vacation.
I had a great time in Kihei, the condo was great! The pictures are fully accurate, and the location is great. The condo is stocked with everything you’d need, including beach gear like chairs and umbrella. Check in and check out were easy, and communication with Jennifer was also super easy! Would totally stay here again, and would recommend!

This place was amazing. Clean, and had more amenities than I’ve ever had at any other condo. In fact I was so happy this host was so patient with me. I had left my code several times in the condo and needed to reach her, and she was on it. I will definitely go there again, but I’ve noticed it’s very popular and hard to get in so plan way in advance.

We had a fabulous 16 day stay here at Kamaole Sands. The condo was perfect. It is stocked with everything one would need from kitchen supplies, to extra towels to a very handy wagon. The condo is in a great location, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place to stay
The checkin process was easy but we were very disappointed at the unit itself. Dated and poor quality. For instance, beach towels had holes, beach umbrella broken(didn’t find this out until at the beach), beach chair had broken pillow. Towels poor quality, kitchen didn’t even have one set of Tupperware with matching lid. Bedroom air conditioner turned off in middle of night and had to get up to turn back on repeatedly. Most units will have some cooking items like olive oil, spices etc but had pretty much only salt and pepper. Will not be staying there again.
We enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to walk to Kam III, which was the best place to watch the sunset. Great snorkeling as well. The pool/hut tubs got a little busy in the evenings, but it was Spring Break. There were plenty of towels, and beach gear. It was nice to have the A/C, but we really only used it for about an hour when we got back from the day's activities.
Comfortable , clean , well equipped condo . The owner is very easy to contact and answers questions promptly . Lovely lanai with perk of ocean . Highly recommended .
