Wonderful location and close to beaches
Hi, My family and I come to Maui every year for a vacation and this is the first year that we did not have proper internet in our unit. My husbands work requires him to always be on the computer and he barely had any signal in the unit, literally most times our phones said SOS and we had no connection, he had to go outside to the pool to get any signal. I know that the construction that is going on is not the units owners fault, but for a vacation that you pay thousands to stay in a nice place the outside of the building looks like a literal construction site. My son was walking to the pool and a huge piece of roofing material almost fell on him. He got so scared that he no longer wanted to go outside. Also, the pictures of the unit show a Keurig coffee machine, so we bought coffee pods before we arrived and to our surprise no Keurig machine just a drip machine. I truly never give negative reviews, but I feel the need to do this one because of the lack of internet(like none for 90 percent of our stay) and the overall construction going on.
The rental was awesome! The photos depicted exactly as we found the unit. So many times the photos are deceiving. Not this time! Can’t wait to visit this property again. Thank you so much!
This was our second stay at Kamaole Sands, the first in this unit, and both have exceeded expectations. The property is well-maintained and close to beaches, restaurants, and social activities. The condo was clean, updated, and full of necessities for daily living. I have only two downsides to our trip. One was current construction on a nearby building causing excess noise in the mornings and blockage of convenient walking paths and parking. Routine maintenance is expected, but one would think they would not schedule it in peak vacation season. The other was the condition of the beach gear. We didn't rent the condo for the gear, but it is a nice feature. The beach chairs, while functional, are old, stained, and ripping at the edges or carrying straps. They all had a black color to the head pillow that I hope was not mold. There is no beach umbrella in the unit, so we rented from a local rental shop. There is a shade canopy that was difficult to set up and not convenient for much-needed beach shade. Overall, I would rent this condo again and would highly recommend it to others.

This property was a 10/10. Tons of room … we took the bedroom and kids on the Murphy bed. Patio with an awesome view. Great Peking spot out front. Room was super clean. Great a/c . Kitchen had everything we needed. Property was upgraded and it showed. Pool at resort was huge and your right accross the street form beach and walking to shops. I would stay at this resort and this unit again .
