We loved this condo and the Kameole Sands resort location, grounds and pool.
We enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the spacious lanai and it being the ground floor so we could easily walk right across to the pool. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Only suggestion would be to have a high chair or booster seat available. The kids plates and play pen were very handy!
I liked the king bed which is a step above what many of our other stays have had.

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was super clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing. I had the best sleeps! We also appreciated the extra beach materials - beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and sand toys for our little one. The location was great. We couldn't have been happier. Thanks for making our first visit to Hawaii so wonderful.
Lovely relaxing place to stay. Everything’s just as beautiful as the pictures. I rented the place because it was beautiful and it has a nice recliner that my husband loved.The town is wonderful with lots of market style shopping and a beautiful beaches and parks.We had a rooster come visit us a few times a day. We called him Rio. He was a nice welcoming rooster. Hope to come back in two years.Aloha
The condo was awesome! Kitchen was well stocked for baking (brownies etc) also, containers for taking snacks to the beach. The mattress was sooo comfortable. Thanks for letting us check-in early. There was only one dish cloth so I had to wash it often! We are thinking of returning next year & hopefully decide soon enough to stay here again! Thanks again
Condo was perfect, clean, had everything we needed and great location. Loved having the outdoor area next to a grassy lawn for kids to play on and nice to be close to the pool and beach. Would definitely stay here again!!
It's a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The condo has all the beach amenities, including boogie boards and snorkel gear. The place was clean and well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked. The lanai was great for breakfast. Overall an amazing place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It took us a little while to figure out the internet connection (the modem had been unplugged), but once that was sorted, everything was smooth. The place was very clean, except for some mold in the washer. Other than that, everything was great. The sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable as the main bed, but it was fine for a few nights. Overall, the unit was a lovely place to stay – I especially loved the interior and decor, which really gave it a Hawaiian feel. I could tell the owner has great taste!
Great location, well appointed unit. The large lanai is great for spending the day in the shade, or you can just walk down the small hill and directly into the pool
The amenities were fantastic both in the suite and in the resort. The host provided much more than expected, from beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to tupperware, sandwich bags and playing blocks for my young daughter.. the space was updated with a wa heat pump air conditioner which was a must have.

This was a special treat to me to stay real close to the beach while on the island visiting friends in Haiku. It was spectacular and near perfect
Close to the pool, large outdoor area, great surprise view of the beach, attractive decor, and everything you need in the kitchen. kitchen.
The unit was just as advertised; fully stocked and everything worked. Space was well maintained and nicely decorated. Very clean. This unit was in close proximity to the one and only pool.Highly recommend the unit and the owner.
This was our first ever visit to Maui and thanks to Tad and Kathy for making our stay the most memorable. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the smallest details taken care of. Kitchen is very well equipped and appliances in great shape. The beach essentials were a BIG plus ! The location of the apartment in the resort is great with easy access to the pool. We drove around a lot in Maui and found Kihei to be the best with respect to services, shops and restaurants. All in all, a perfect 10 to this Super host !!
I had an amazing stay at this vacation rental in Kihei! The location was absolutely beautiful, with easy access to stunning beaches and gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was spacious, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear. The amenities were fantastic, especially the nice pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in Maui!
This place was perfect for us and our 1 year old. She lived running in the grass right outside and the pool was a nice short walk. The place was very nice and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating beyond expectations. Condo was even more spacious then it looked in the pictures. Property was very clean and in exceptional conditions. Plenty of storage for personal items. Checking in was easy and parking was easy. Great central location. Very comfortable big bed we felt very comfortable and at home in the unit. Would 100% recommend and stay here again if returning to Maui.
This condo was even better than we had hoped, we really enjoyed our honeymoon here! It’s a great location at Kamaole Sands, close to the pool and other amenities and just a short walk to the beach. The unit itself was clean and inviting, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The only thing I missed having was a safe to store our valuables and passports. Everything else in the unit was perfect with lots of extra thoughtful touches for guests. would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to rent a superior unit! We had a really good experience staying here. It’s a very nice property and being on the first floor close to pool and the parking lot was just the icing on the cake. We had an infant with us and they got a lot of walking space, it’s quite spacious too. We liked it had 2 full bathrooms, me and my husband could get ready separately and save time to go out for sightseeing.
The host has made sure that everything is quite independent and mentioned things in the checking list. They respond fast too while you are staying so that was helpful too. Highly recommended!!
Loved this unit. Great location to pool and beach.
The main bed was very comfortable. The entire condo was exceptionally clean.
Only down side was that the pull out sofa for the kids was very thin and the kids could feel the frame. However we made it work and would definitely book this unit again and can’t wait. 🤗
My husband, toddler and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kamaole Sands. The ground unit was perfect for having a toddler who wanted to run around in the grass and we were so close to the pool. The condo had all the amenities we would need. We took morning walks to the beach and to get coffee nearby and enjoyed the sunset at the beach across the street every night. We would definitely stay here again!
From our arrival until the day we left this was the perfect place to stay. This condo is so well stocked with everything you will need for cooking your meals to enjoying a day on the beach. The grounds and pool at the Kamaole Sands are well cared for it is a beautiful property. Being able to simply walk to the beach is also a plus. I can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our recent vacation here and will stay here again.
The property and unit was just as described! Everything was clean & orderly making it smooth and painless to check in & get right to enjoying our weekend getaway. We will be back for sure!!!
Tad’s place is incredible. I’ve stayed at several Kam Sands locations and this might be my favorite. AC in the bedroom, AC in the front. Ground level right next to the pool is so convenient. Amenities are prime. Location is updated and clean. They have the best beach and travel items!! Tommy Bahama chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear, chargers for your phone in the bedroom, well stocked kitchen, beach towels, updated dishwasher and fridge!!
Two things to note that I wish I would have known— they don’t have shampoo or conditioner in the shower. I had to go to the store for that as I’m used to that being in VRBOs. And this location is right next to the elevator. I brought ear plugs but something to note if you’re a light sleeper.

Our stay here was great. The place was nicely decorated, spacious, clean, comfortable and location was ideal.
It is centrally located about 45 minutes to Paia (very cute town)/beginning to Road of Hana. We enjoyed a whale watching excursion, leaving out of Lahaina, also about 45 minutes away. First time in Kihei and we loved it. About 1.5 miles to many good food options and shopping. Beach right across the street from the condo. Can also walk right across the lawn to the entrance of the pool. We will definitely be coming back, already planning for later this summer.
