Nice property, quiet safe neighborhood. "Hot" tub did not go above room temperature; it was just a tub...disappointing after spending the day hiking. BBQ grill was gross, and we were not in the mood to clean it. Beverage cooler was also disgusting. Lights under the patio umbrella did not work. Smoke detectors were missing from the ceiling mounts in the living room and master suite. No indoor fireplace but there was an outdoor fire pit, no coffee grinder and the fridge ice maker also didn't work. Minor inconveniences but if it is listed on the profile, it should be provided. Paid the asking price but did not get all the listed amenities.
Great place to relax with many options for small or large gatherings. The kitchen was great for cooking and we enjoyed the outdoor dining table for dinner with friends. Would definitely stay again!
A perfect home away from home! This house has everything needed for a great vacation, just bring your bathing suit! The pool and hot tub are sublime! Plenty of room for a large group. Quiet location close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants! The local Kailua Farmer’s Market is soooooo good!! Would love to stay here again!

Property was conveniently located. Kailua is a great town with beautiful beaches and things to do daily. Driving to Waikiki, Kahlua Ranch, and Diamond Head was easy. For military families this property is conveniently located adjacent to the Marine base.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The pool and jacuzzi were a hit with the kids and the patio area was a nice place to hang out and play games for the adults. The backyard had plenty of space for my son and I to play catch.We appreciated the quietness of the area and being a bit off the traditionally beaten path. You aren't so far away from stuff that getting anywhere on the island didn't feel like a real trek.The best beach we visited in our week long stay was the one just down the road from the house. If you're anything like me or my family, you like not having all the chaos of Wikiki and having your own little oasis beach with limited numbers of people.The lone compliant we had about the house was that the walls are pretty thin, so if you're a light sleeper, anticipate a little bit of noise from your other housemates. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay and already miss the home.
Beautiful house, beautiful pool. Washer was helpful and worked well. Only two kid challenges were that the lava rock edges on the pool were a little rough for the kids, and one of the bedrooms is only accessible via the backyard/pool area.
What a great place to stay! If you are thinking about staying in the Kailua area, this is a perfect house. Great layout, super clean, nice neighborhood and close to the beach! This was our third time staying in Kailua and this house was easily the best. We'd definitely go back.

Beautifully maintained property with so many thoughtful touches and amenities. Sara and Chris are very responsive and helpful on so many levels, I only wish this was a permanent vacation.
The house, location, amenities made this home a home away from home. The backyard is a family oasis for all ages and enough space to have some quiet time if needed. We hope to visit again soon!
The house and the grounds more than lived up to the pictures. The location was close to everything. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. I wouldn’t give it just 5 stars but 100 if I could.
Family fun trip, perfect getaway with easy access to all the island has to offer. Never enough time, would recommend this property.
The house was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool and spa. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen sink needed a little attention, backed up some times. Overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
Our family of seven enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful home in a residential area of Kailua. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Safeway market was walking distance for supplies. The backyard has a lively pool and spa. There’s a beautiful beach a 20 minute walk from the house and the town of Kailua is a short drive. Beach towels & chairs were provided too. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home..

Very convenient location to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. We were in Kailua for two of our teens gymnastic competition. The pool was a bit cool but the girls made great use of it every day. And the hot tub was wonderful after long days. The house was very well stocked.

It was perfect. Incredible location. Beautiful property that was great for our 4 year old. Couldn’t have asked for better.
We loved everything about the house and the area we stayed in.
We had 3 couples and each couple had their own BR and bathroom. The hot tub and pool were a great way to relax when we returned from our adventures each day. There are large indoor common spaces including a spacious kitchen, living and family rooms. On top of that is a great covered outdoor sitting and dining area by the pool. The location lends itself to exploring the North Shore, Waikiki, the pali lookout and hiking, etc.
Fantastic place for family and friends to gather! Property is really amazing; accommodations, gathering space, pool, backyard, distance to beach and other daily needs could not be better.
We were a bit worried about the big road behind the house but this was not an issue what so ever.
The only thing I would comment on is the overall cleanliness and specifically the kitchen.
At this price level we expected something better! Kitchen is equipped OK’ish but very messy and not clean. Would not take much to get this property to a very impressive level all around.
We stayed for about a week. Were on Oahu for a daughter's wedding. Visited Maui multiple previous times (loved it!!!), first time staying on Oahu. We loved, loved the property and it's location (southeast side of Oahu). That area of the island is beautiful and the "vibe" was perfect!
Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The house was clean and well maintained. Lots of individual A/C units to help cool each room and space. Really nice kitchen with high-end appliances. Lots of "elbow" room and plenty of cabinet/storage space. Our only critique of the the kitchen was the selection of tableware/dishes. The dishes (plates and bowls), could probably use a modest upgrade. Nice clothes washer and dryer.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were all well-appointed with decent linens and plenty of towels. Everyone said their beds were pretty comfortable. Closet space was somewhat limited in a couple of the bedrooms, but plentiful in the other bedrooms.
The backyard area is HUGE. Great area to hang out in. Only used the pool a little (due to our schedule), but it is a beautiful, well-maintained pool. There is a separate spa/jacuzzi, but we did not have an opportunity to use it, though it looked really nice.
The house is great for a large family. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and pretty peaceful. The location is central to a lot of things to do (at least on that side of the island). A small shopping center with a Safeway and several places to eat is 3-minute drive away.
Everything was clean. Beautiful property and pool. Hoping to return again.

We loved staying at this home in Oahu. It was our first time visiting Oahu and this home was perfect for our family of 6 (mostly with adult children). The bedrooms were private for the kids and then the main huge lovely master suite was almost its separate living quarters. It had a big king bed, huge bathroom with tub, shower, etc. We felt pampered in the house. The house was stocked more than other houses we have stayed in elsewhere in the US. The communication was quick and terrific. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. It was lovely to sit outside and eat our meals at the big wooden table in the evenings or play games. We would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend to others with a larger party like us. The location was very quiet, and it didn't seem like it took that long to get anywhere. Approx 30-40 minutes to get to the other side of the island. The views on Oahu are breathtaking.
We stayed with our 4 kids (6-12 years) & my parents. We appreciated the pool & hot tub, backyard with avocado & plumeria trees, space to spread out or gather. Nice neighborhood & location, away from the busy of Honolulu. Kitchen well-stocked. Host responsive when sheets didn’t fit correctly. Downsides - some beds/bedding could be updated. Pool very cold (kids braved it, but hard for adults) - though admittedly we were there in December. Overall, great stay. Lovely home.
We have been visiting Oahu since 1994 and have stayed at many houses. The pros: lovely and quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen-well stocked, individual AC in each room, beds were comfortable, pool, hot tub and yard (although the pool has no hand rail to help older people step in and out). 5 minute drive to great beaches and easy access to other areas of Oahu. The walkable beach (Turtle Beach) is rocky and covered at high tide so not really useable. Beach chairs and umbrella available. New master suite was great. Needs attention: BBQ was filthy and had not been cleaned for a bit. One of the queen bedrooms had a lot of noise from the outside (maybe AC) which made it very hard to sleep in. Small bathroom shower is almost unusable due to the shower head…perhaps look at changing. Kitchen table only has 4 chairs. With 4 rooms and occupancy of 8, there should be 8 chairs. There was only 1 hair dryer for all 3 bathrooms, at least that we could find. All and all, we had a very nice 11 night stay.
