This 3 bedroom, 3 Bath luxury townhome is located in the gated Alii Cove Condominium complex. This location provides a short walking distance to the of town of Kailua Kona where you will find fine ocean front dining, shopping, St. Michael’s Church, and coffee shops for that morning brew. Since the townhome is located directly in front of Honl’s Beach, it has spectacular views of the beach, ocean, surfers, and cruise ships moored in Kailua Bay as well as easy access to the beach.
During your stay, you will enjoy the benefits of a fully equipped 1815 sqft. luxury air conditioned home with tropical appointments throughout. The two upstairs bedrooms are configured with a King En-Suite, and a Queen En-Suite. The King Bedroom also has an exterior balcony overlooking Kailua Bay. The downstairs bedroom has two extralong twin beds with an adjacent guest bath.
The kitchen area is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, a bar seating area, and a great selection of cooking/serving utensils. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and is equipped with seating for six.
The family room features a flat screen HD TV, Digital Cable with DVR, Home Theater System, Blue-ray player with streaming capability and an audio stereo system. Adjacent to the living room is an area with two reclining chairs ideal for tv watching, reading, or napping.
Outside of the family/living areas is a fully landscaped lanai overlooking Honl’s Beach. The lanai aside from plantings and a bird bath, has an outdoor table with seating for six, a chase lounge, and a BBQ making it a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, a mai tai, or an entire meal.
As a guest here at Alii Cove the complex facilities are available including a workout gym, pool, and spa. Also included are two dedicated parking spaces, one in an enclosed garage and the second as a dedicated space.
Electricity costs, up to 35 KWHR/Day, are included in the cost of the rental. Over the years, most of our guests are able to live comfortably without exceeding this limit.
For those with mobility challenges, it is important to note that direct access to the condo from the parking spaces to the townhome requires the use of a flight of exterior stairs. Alternate access with no stairsteps is available but it is a bit more circuitous.

The breeze is gentle, the sun is just coming up over the ocean with the sky painted in many colors. The sounds of the waves breaking into the shore fills the morning. We are sitting on the patio with our coffee in hand watching the world come to life. Another beautiful day in paradise.We were able to catch the live volcano, go star gazing, fly to Oahu to visit Pearl harbor, the list is endless and at the end of the day we would walk approx. 3 minutes down to the ocean to watch the sun set for the end of a perfect day.Les’s property is truly beautiful in every way. Les, himself is a very kind individual and also very trustworthy.We enjoyed our time and we are looking forward to coming back. Thank you Les, all was perfect.Tim and Beth

Unit is spacious and well equipped; views are excellent and it is within walking distance to many restaurants; complex has a very nice pool that we didn’t find crowded

Location was fabulous- close to airport, beaches, groceries.. property manager was phenomenal and super responsive and super helpful! The house was stocked well which made our stay easy. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I would highly recommend.

Been visiting Kona for 40 years; this was the nicest, most comfortable place we've ever stayed. Great location, view of the ocean, surfers, well stocked kitchen, everything you need for the beach. The private BBQ was great.

Perfect place to stay! The location was awesome for walking to the farmers market and to the beach. Didn’t need a car locally as there is the trolly to take you shopping.

The place was as described and was on a end unit which is nice. The owners and property manager was always available and had great communication. I had some concerns but the owners stayed after us and the concerns were addressed. We are already trying to plan next to stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay for an extended period of time. This condo, in Ali'i Cove, was perfect for our family of 4. It became our home away from home.
The owner along with previous guests have supplied everything you need for a comfortable extended stay. From kitchenware to boogie boards, from beach towels to pool noodles, from a BBQ to beach chairs, from books to extra linens. The condo also includes a private garage!
The location of the condo is excellent. We had views of famous Kona sunsets and could hear the sound of the ocean. During high surf, it would make loud crashing sounds and low surf conditions would turn it into a calming whisper. We slept with the sliding glass door open to hear it. The upper lanai features a beautiful view of the ocean and neighborhood beach below. Surfers and boogie boarders frequent it daily.
The office in the condo was especially helpful as I was able to work remotely from Kona. There was reliable internet/wifi and a printer.
Our family particularly enjoyed the Ali'i Cove pool. It was heated and clean. The spa was a good size. And if you have a toddler, there is even a toddler pool. And if you want to work out, there's a gym.
Kona is not far from great snorkel spots (Kahalu'u, Two-Step) and a beautiful drive to other amazing beaches like Kapalua. It's within walking distance to good beachfront restaurants like Huggo's and Papa Kona. It close to brand new Safeway, plus Target, Costco, Macy's, etc.
The only small drawbacks to note are that it's hard to feel the AC in the master bedroom and that mattress has seen better days. Also, Kona tap water is pretty poor so I would recommend buying bottled water for your stay.
The owner was super responsive and helpful with recommendations as well.
Bottom line is that we loved staying here and we can't wait to return!
