Amazing stay. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach on a private path. The house is well stocked for families (spices, beach chairs, boogie boards, kitchen equipment). Pool was super clean and lovely. We had an amazing stay and the caretaker was super responsive as well. We will definitely be coming back.
We took our three adult children to enjoy a family vacation - which we probably won't get to do again soon as they are leaving the nest! We cooked family meals, walked to the beach everyday, swam in the pool and had the best time ever! Memories of a lifetime! The home was cozy and met all of our needs - great kitchen and BBQ. The property manger checked in and was the nicest guy ever. He was easy to work with and even went above and beyond. God bless him! We hope to visit again because this may very well be the best kept secret on Oahu.

Spectacular property located beachside! Our family came together to attend my youngest son's wedding @ Kualoa Ranch. The house was perfect for our needs. The pool kept the kids busy while the adults conversed and enjoyed the spa. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. Of the 4 rental properties our other friends and relatives had..hands down. ours was definitely the best. Very grateful for its availability
This is absolutely stunning and beautifully maintained. My family of six stayed here and it is truly the best place we’ve ever stayed in on Hawaii. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. The short walk to an uncrowded section of Kailua beach is absolutely amazing. Having the ability to rinse off the sand outside the house and quickly jump into the hot tub is surreal.
The house had everything we needed from the a full kitchen with all the cooking supplies we needed to extra goggles for the beach. All the beds were comfortable. The couch is even comfortable, which is hard to find in a short term rental!. It’s in close proximity to Safeway and target to help you stock up on groceries and any supplies you may have forgotten. It’s about five minutes away from Island Snow. IYKYK.
The property is perfectly placed between going to Kualoa Ranch and the Polynesian Culture Center to visiting Honolulu on the other side of the Ko’oluas. Whether you’re here for the tourist thing or you’re here to get away from it all, this is a place you want to stay at.
The communication with the caretaker was phenomenal. They even called twice just to check in to see if we needed anything.. We highly recommend this property to anyone and definitely will be back!
Wow what a place to stay! Our family of 5 (incl 3 girls under 12), headed to Hawaii for 2 weeks and instead of going to another island for a week, we decided to go to Kailua, rent a house, chill and live like a local - and Kailua certainly delivered.
Waikiki can be busy in the summer seasons, think lines for every meal, and whilst we loved every moment of that part of our trip, Kailua Bay will certainly be the highlight.
If you are considering a trip of this nature, and looking at this review, you want some reassurance its the right decision - it was for us.
You'll find a meticulously clean, well appointed 5 bed home within a 1 minute walk to the beach, quick ride to multiple shopping zones, and easy access to everything considered "north" . We saw turtles everyday whilst in this area, not out front but at Kailua beach, Lanikai, and of course up the north shore drive.
The home is extremely well set out, particularly if you want some room to be together and apart at the same time. The owners have thought of everything. John the caretaker is a legend and super helpful, but really you will just feel like it's your place when you arrive.
We travel a lot and cannot fault this home.

So much equipment to help enjoy pool and beach. Incredible to have the beach so close. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen. All made our family vacation perfect.

We spent 2 wks here and enjoyed every single second. We had beautiful weather, excellent quick access to the beautiful beach that offered the clearest blue water, as well as, breath taking sunrise and sunset views. Lazy days we enjoyed time together in the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed site seeing all over Hawaii. This was the perfect home for 8 adults.
Our family of 8 had a wonderful week at this property. The location was perfect to access all parts of the island easily from Waikiki to the North Shore and we made the most of it. it’s also just a short walk to the Kailua beach that we went to several times. The house and the pool are taken care of well and have everything you need for a great vacation!!
I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again! It is a great location within walking distance to a quiet beach away from the crowds, which is exactly what we wanted. However, if you want to go to Honolulu or Waikiki it is only a 30 minute drive away. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for our group of 5. Property owner and caretaker communication was quick and very helpful.
