Welcome to Kai Malie, a wonderful vacation home! This comfortable home is located on the East side of the Big Island. Wake up grab your coffee and walk 10 minutes to 2 ocean front parks to watch the sunrise, and watch for whales!

Volcano National Park is 41 miles away. Plan to spend a day exploring.

Travel into Hilo for Waterfalls such as Rainbow, Akaka and Peepee. Visit the Pacific Tsunami Museum, the Lyman Mission House, the Imiloa Astronomy Center. See what is showing at the Palace Theater. Pick up fresh produce, crafts and souvenirs at Hilo Farmers Market. There is also a golf course in Hilo and several swimming beaches. Visit Richardson Beach, Coconut Island, and beautiful Queen Liliuokalani Gardens.

Travel up the Hamakua Coast to the Waipio Valley Lookout and be sure to stop in Honokaa town to pick up special Hawaii-made goods and shave ice of course!

Take a day and travel to the West Side. Kayak in Captain Cook Bay, take a surf lesson, visit the Place of Refuge. There are also several beautiful white sand beaches awaiting you.

The back yard is surrounded with an electric fence to protect the yard from wild pigs. Master bedroom with king-size bed and backyard lanai. There is a gas grill and patio furniture. And for your day adventures, you'll find snorkeling sets, beach towels, mats, 2 camper style beach chairs, coolers, 2 boogie boards, and floating noodles! In the yard, you may find an avocado, papaya, apple bananas, fresh flowers, or a RIPE pineapple in the garden, help yourself. Remember to FULLY RINSE All produce you use before eating.
