The property was fine. It was comfortable and clean. But our trip was undermined on the second day on the beach in front of the property. We swam along the beach to the north and were attached by some locals--one obviously mentally ill. He demanded we pick up some golf balls in the water and then started threatening my son. Then he sent his pit bull into the water after us. We managed to escape. The owner of one of the units knew all about these people...we are not the first attacked. My son's trip was ruined...the incident was all he could talk about. The management of the Kahana Village know about the situation. All perspective renters should be warned.

We had a fantastic stay, this is a beautiful well located small and friendly resort. The condo was exactly as described ( unit 16) spotlessly clean but unrenovated so a bit tired in the bathroom. The view across the pool to the ocean and islands beyond more than made up for what the condo lacked in glamour. The price reflects this . If a couple of cracked tiles is going to ruin your holiday pay the extra for a recently renovated condo. The beds were comfortable. The Mai Tai party on Wednesday was fun and welcoming. We had a fab holiday away from crowds but close by for shopping and eating out. I would stay here again without a doubt.

This is our 4th time staying at Kahana Village and was the lowest quality unit we have stayed in at this very nice complex. The unit lay-out is great the unit has seem not have to not been upgraded since it was built and for its age is in decent condition. This unit would be beautiful if it was renovated but would also go for a much higher price.

This was a great place to stay for families. The beach and pool were just steps away from our condo. The kids loved it. The condo was well equipped with swimming cooking and household utensils. Beach and pool were never crowded and cabana had BBQ for tenant use. There was shade if you wanted it and bathroom down by the pool and beach. The units with air conditioning were exceptional.

We had an excellent time and the Village could not be nicer. Beautiful views, lovely pool, great vibe. The staff was awesome especially Harmony and Jeff. Everything is clean and well manicured. My only issue was that the unit we chose really needs new beds and the bathrooms need updating. In all fairness we knew it wasn't an updated unit so its our fault. We will be back but will upgrade our choice of units. The good part is you can't miss on the views.

Our family of three stayed at the Kahana Village, last year and had a great experience...that's why we stayed again this year. We are so pleased with Kahana Village and feel it is the best kept secret on Maui! We enjoy the management and staff, as they are the best! They are true professionals and value you as a guest and make your stay a great experience! The grounds are always immaculate, the pool very clean and well kept, the community barbecue area and grills are clean, well-maintained and ready for you to grill, the beach is right there and the parking is great. Oh yes, the views are panoramic. We could whale watch right from our deck, a real plus. We will stay again next year and have already made our reservation. We stayed in unit #16 this year and it was okay, it is a standard unit, nothing like the deluxe unit we stayed in last year, there is really a big difference. The upgrades in the deluxe are very nice and having experienced it, we will only stay in a deluxe or luxury unit in the future.
