It was great. Our room was perfect. Couldn’t get enough of that beautiful ocean view. The wedding was magical- breathtakingly beautiful.

This apartment was in an ideal location. The beach in front was great for swimming (a little steep to get in and out) and we snorkeled with turtles right in front! There was even a turtle resting up on the beach. You could watch the whales breaching from the deck. The complex itself was not yet fully open (larger function rooms etc still closed off) but the grounds were lovely. The barbecue by the pool was really great. I would suggest that the property invest in an electric Kettle for those who do not drink coffee as water took forever to boil on the cooktop. The washing machine was not working during our stay.

I have been staying at this resort for over 15 years in various units. This one by far has been the worst. Upon arrival I immediately noticed the decor was askew and the couch and rugs were filthy. The cleanliness of the unit was definately lacking. The set up of the unit with the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms is really nice if your staying with friends or family. The view is awesome. This unit has an amazing ocean view! Unfortunately, that is the only positive. We were booked to stay 14 nights, but we only stayed 5 nights. The unit was infested with roaches — you can always expect to see a few on a tropical island. But this unit was ground zero for roaches — they were in the dishwasher, fridge, cabinets. There were close to 20 roach traps placed in the unit that were filled with dead and living roaches. Several cabinets were covered with roach poop. On-site management sprayed several times, but that is not sufficient for an infestation. Vrbo was of little assistance to us in helping us find other accommodations and claimed it was not covered by their book with confidence guarantee — even after sending Vrbo pictures of the traps and feces. The property management company, Chase ‘N Rainbows, was of great help in finding us other condos, even though we had to move three times. In addition to the roaches, the carpeting in the bedrooms is severely stained and needs to be replaced. It’s a real shame — this is a penthouse unit and has a fabulous view and updated kitchen and living areas, but I would not recommend this unit until, and if, the owner takes proper action to mediate the roach infestation.

The location was good right on the beach. The carpet needs to be replaced as well as the bedroom furniture and bed is hard as a rock. Most of the furniture was broken,bed was hard and the room was hot all the time due to no a/c. There was several roaches that we had to kill and the fridge needs updated. Besides the location the condo was not up to par.
We really enjoyed staying here. The location was great…fabulous view, no afternoon sun coming in which kept it cool. Nicely updated and decorated compared to other units….we had 5 other units here within our group and this was by far the best! We also had friends who were staying next door at Sands of Khana so this spot was great! The beach was wonderful. A few minor things about the place that could improve the stay….get a broom to leave for guests to use! Get rid of the carpet in the bedrooms. New more comfortable furniture for the Lanai…we spent a lot of time out there and it was not very comfortable…and only had 3 chairs for 4 people in a unit that can house 6! Get rid of the platform frame in the 2nd bedroom…it sticks out further than the mattress and we stubbed our knees, legs and toes on it many times. Finally, the cockroaches….huge problem from day one. It didn’t seem that any other unit was having the same issue and the roach motels all over the floor and under the sink were unappealing and seeming ineffective. We are from Cali, so not put off by 1 here or there, but waking up every morning to them in the sink, dishwasher and garbage was not great.
Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would probably book again.

Condo was in a great location with easy access to the sandy beach and pool. Property was conveniently located across the street from a small grocery/convenience store as well as a snorkel bob's. Condo itself seemed fairly clean with plentiful towels, soap, TP, etc. but the carpets in the bedrooms could use a good cleaning. I also spotted a cockroach in the kitchen on the first day. I generally expect a few roaches but over the course of our 5 day stay we had more and more present themselves (even in the dishwasher). We do make an extra effort to not leave food out, counters clean and trash out but it didn't seem to make a ton of difference.

My husband & I and our two kids stayed in this condo for a week in June and had a fantastic time! The view of the ocean from the balcony was spectacular. We saw turtles everyday. We were able to swim and snorkel at the beach just downstairs. There was beach gear available for us to use (chairs, mats, boogie board, etc), which the kids loved. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue at all, as there was always a nice breeze when the doors were open. There were some issues with roaches (as we read about in other reviews) but we kept all food in the refrigerator and it was not a problem. We ate at many of the restaurants within walking distance (Hawaiian Village Coffee, Maui Brewing Co) and there was also a store and McDonalds right across the street. The location was great, parking and check in were super easy and I would definitely book this condo again!

This property has an amazing view over the ocean and a nice little beach to swim in. We had several turtles swim with us. Condo was really roomy and 4 of us were very comfortable. Kitchen was pretty well equipped although it could use some better sharp knives (most of the knives were serrated so we couldn’t sharpen them). Loved having a washer and dryer. We also took advantage of the gas grills by the pool. Great location not too far from some great snorkeling beaches just past Kaanapali. One suggestion to the owner is to install hooks for hanging bath towels. There were very few places to hang towels.

The apartment had a great view and enough room for a large family like ours. However, it was not very clean (the showers and kitchen). Also, it was lacking a lot of kitchen supplies and towels. There were not enough utensils or plates to accommodate everyone without having to run the dishwasher daily.
