The best feature was to be so close to the beach, 3 minutes walking, lot of places to find food, the apartment comfortable. Just the A/C needing some maintenance. Communication with owner was excellent!! Nice place to expend your vacation with the family!
I loved this little condo. If I was to return to Maui, I will definitely book this place again. Fantastic location, clean condo, fantastic customer service. For instance, there was no hairdryer in the condo as advertised, so I reached out in a few hours later, they had brought a brand new hairdryer Would recommend over and over again!
We enjoyed the space, pool, the chairs, umbrella & cooler to take to the beach. What we didn’t enjoy was the noise. Issues with cleanliness & missing amenities. Second bedroom air conditioner did not work, when it was turned on, it would run for five minutes and then a code P1 one would come on and it was not cold after that. The main bathroom bathtub took 15 minutes to drain, when after a shower. I stood in 4 inches of water because it would not drain. When I had a bath, the plug would not hold the water in the tub. The tub was not clean and there is mold on the inside of the shower curtain liner. The screen door was not sliding properly, so I had to fix that. The carpets in both bedrooms were quite dirty as my mom and I both wore indoor slippers and they were both quite dirty from the carpets. The master bedroom door on the outside facing the living room was quite dirty with lots of handprints all over the door. The day we were checking out, we discovered that the freezer of the fridge was not working, and the fridge itself seemed to be warming up as well. I did leave a voicemail to let my perfect stays know that this was happening. During the week of our stay, I had sent a message asking about a first aid kit and received no response. It would be nice for this condo to have a first aid kit available and also to provide amenities like saran wrap, tinfoil or little baggies to wrap food. We shouldn’t have to buy those things when going on a holiday in another country.
Great property, location and service. They made our Maui vacation a breeze! Unit was perfect, close to beaches and amenities. The chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards in the unit were an excellent perk for some beach fun too. Would definitely stay again!
The condo property is old but the inside has been remodeled nicely. It is in a central location to beaches, local markets and dining to fit every budget but mostly in the $$$ range. The property managers have been responsive and even gave us a nice little welcome snack package.
The weather was pleasant with ocean breezes coming in through the deck screen doors and a great view of some of the ocean on this deck. The owners provided beach towels and chairs too.
There were a few things that made our stay less than stellar:
- Noise from the street. You can hear everything from delivery trucks, leaf blowers at 7am most mornings, obnoxiously loud car engines going by, people yelling or screaming etc.
- Rusty knife set. With everything else being so clean and the rules requiring cleaniless, it was surprising to see rust on the knife set that we used in the kitchen.
- You had to bring your garbage and recycling down to the trash dumpsters down at the parking lot level. My daughter brought down the garbage one day and there were huge rats crawling all over the dumpsters. She threw the bag in there and we ran. Makes me wonder how often they clean out those areas, outside of hauling the dumpsters out.
- Parking. The parking was limited and every condo had it's dedicated parking. I had to park in a spot that was not easy to get into every time I had to park there.
Despite these things, our stay was pleasant and will have fond memories.
Here for a wedding in kaanapali - was super convenient to get wherever we needed to (by car). Nice beach was a 3 min walk away and appreciated the backpack beach chairs the condo provided! Bottom level of the condo had a snorkel rental, a liquor/general store, and sushi - what more can you ask for!
Unit was clean and spacious, very happy to have two bathrooms for 3 people, and AC units in each room. Highly recommend, assuming you aren’t looking for the bustling whalers village experience.
We had a fantastic time here. The condo was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the lanai and the various amenities provided. There are easily accessible restaurants and shops on the first floor of the building. Booking was a breeze and we will definitely stay here on our next visit to Maui.
Easy to locate and check in! Amazing view! Very convenient access to food, water rental gear, and beach. The beach is down the street and not crowded at all! The place is very nice and everything is modern. Has a big enough kitchen and fridge to cook :) I loved my stay!
