Perfect location! Walk-out from lanai to ocean/pool and great sunsets just steps away. Lots of beach/snorkeling gear provided. Family really enjoyed staying at this wonderful condo. Will definitely be coming back in the future!
This was our first time to Hawaii and this property met all of our needs. We enjoyed cooking in some nights and having restaurants so close when we didn’t want to cook. The ocean, pools and hot tubs are all so convenient from this location. This property made our first vacation to Hawaii an awesome one, our 9 and 7 year old loved it! We would definitely want to come back to this location.
The minute we walked through the lobby we knew we were in for a treat. Then we opened the door to the condo my mouth dropped! The view was breathtaking and all that I dreamed of for my 60th! We were worried about being on the ground floor but that wasn’t a problem at all; in fact it was perfect. Only steps to the pool, and a few more to the beach. Every sunset was awesome and we didn’t have to go somewhere else to get it. They even had a small band playing on our last night at Kaanapali Shores. We did a snorkel trip to Lanai to see the spinner dolphins, but we ended up seeing a turtle right there at the resort while snorkeling. So glad we found this place. It made great memories for us and our daughter and grandson. The two pools were warm, and loved the blue lighting at night. The fountains and bridge design on the 2nd pool was beautiful. The grounds were well kept, the flowers were awesome, and the koi ponds were a great touch. The condo had everything we needed and we did try to help by leaving some staple items behind like salt, pepper, mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc. Any issues we had, Chase n Rainbows was quick to return our call. The maintenance came to look at dishwasher and was very pleasant. Everyone was very friendly at the resort. We will be back again for our 35th Anniversay! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

50 years ago we were married in a Double Wedding Ceremony with my sister and her husband. Kaanapali Shores #159 was the perfect place for the 4 of us to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary together.This beautifully decorated ground floor condo was just steps away from the beach, the pool and pool side Restaurant. The patio was a wonderful place to relax with a view of breaking waves and beautiful gardens all around.We feel this property was accurately represented with the exception of 2nd bedroom. We were disappointed in the lack of natural light and the small size of the 2nd bedroom. That being said, we would not hesitate to recommend #159.

This condo has nothing in pantry or cupboards not even salt and pepper. This is the only condo we have ever rented with an empty pantry. Had a lot of beach toys, chair's and cooler. Had problems getting ceilings fan in bedroom to run. Chase’N Rainbows was fast to solve issues.
We stayed here with our three kids ages 6-12. The location and convenience was fantastic and definitely the best feature of this property. It was great to be literally steps from both pool and beach so everyone could come and go easily throughout the day. We also enjoyed walking further down Kaanapali beach and to the shops and bakery’s nearby. The condo itself was serviceable but not particularly clean. The washing machine/dryer had lots of sand and lint, the fridge had a few dead ants, and the dishwasher had leftover food remnants and didn’t clean that well. We contacted management and they said they would notify the cleaning team going forward but didn’t do anything to remedy this during our stay.
