Just an absolutely wonderful place! Stunning location in every way. The condo was wonderful and had everything we needed and more. The resort (the Shores) was perfectly sized to have everything we wanted — two pools, bar/restaurant, beach, ocean rentals and towels, plenty of lounge chairs, shops, etc. but the condo was the standout…if you want a prime oceanfront location where you are looking at the turtles swim by while having coffee in the morning, or relaxing with the sunset directly in front of you while sitting on the balcony, this is it! A great addition was that the management company was friendly, helpful, and timely with all communication, too!
This place is wonderful! You could not be any closer to the ocean; we watched a gorgeous sunset from the wrap around balcony every night! The unit is large and exactly as depicted! The pools are nice too.Also AC IS TRULY CENTRAL!Park outside by delivery entrance for this unit; puts you closer!Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
Absolutely beautiful spot, great amenities, wonderful property for kids all the way up to grandparents. Will hopefully be back!
With a 180 degree view of the ocean, Lanai and Molokai you can’t get a better location. The unit itself was just as advertised, no surprises.

My friends and I can't say enough good things about this rental. This unit is oceanfront as shown on the listing where the view is breathtaking and you can hear the relaxing waves throughout your stay. The beach is steps away. Amenities are complete, property is conveniently located and close to a grocery store, food trucks and restaurants. The communication with the my perfect stay team is excellent. The only recommendation we would make is to have luggage carts available for vacationers as it is more challenging to haul your groceries from the parking lot to your room.
The unit itself is clean, spacious, and is as depicted in the listing. The lanai overlooks the ocean, and the ocean can also be seen (and heard 😊) from both bedrooms. The mattresses, bedding, and towels were of good quality. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.
The resort's pools and landscaping are well maintained, and the towel service easy to use. Having a bar and restaurant near the pools is convenient.
Papi Ohana's is a delicious and renowned bakery just a short walk from the resort where cinnamon rolls and scones can be picked up for breakfast or pizza ordered for later in the day. You can pick up items at an ABC store close to the bakery, and across the street is a grocery store, several restaurants, and a new bar.
Others have made comments about parking and the long walk to get to the unit. The best parking is to drive through the garage to the other side, park near the building, and walk in through the delivery entrance (which was always open). This way takes you straight to the elevators, and the unit is a just short walk down the hallway.
A beautiful property, peaceful setting, with plenty of nearby services.
GREAT location/GREAT amenities, and a family friendly resort. We especially enjoyed the newly renovated kids pool…hours of fun. Grocery store across the street was bonus.
Corner room with Garden/Pool/Ocean view and wraparound lanai was outstanding. Floor plan was comfortable and perfect for our party of 6 (4 Adults/2 Children).
Kaanapali Shores is an excellent value and had everything we needed for the week. Unit could use a cosmetic update on furniture, and desperately needs new screens, but other than that, if you are looking a clean/comfortable/convenient property…this is a winner.

Amazing trip, this is our 3rd time at this resort and this condo was superb!! The views were something else!
My family and I have stayed at the Kaanapali Shores many times over the years. This was by far the nicest condo unit in the complex we have stayed in. The 01 series of units have a beautiful view of the resort and ocean. The lanai is also 3 times the size of all the other units in the resort which was great for my family of 5. We spent many nights watching the sunset from the lanai.
Maui Life Reality was great with their communication to us. Provided us a door code days in advance of our reservation and even allowed me to purchase a late checkout of 4pm the day we were leaving. When you have an 8pm redeye flight home that is a nice bonus to be able to check out late afternoon for only 25% of the daily fee.
Kaanapali Shores is also great to stay at becasue it is never over crowded like other resorts. This is becasue only some of the rooms are rented out as VRBOs or hotel rooms. The rest are privately owned with seasonal occupancy by the residents.
Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!!!
The condo that we stayed in had a beautiful view of the ocean. However, we were disappointed with the actual condo for the following reasons: 1) We love to cook and grill when in Hawaii, however, the kitchen was lacking in all areas. We had to ask the manager for plates and bowls. There were only 4 plates when we arrived. 2) We love to grill when we're in Hawaii. We were told that the grill was by the pool. Unfortunately, the grill is located by the tennis courts which was a long walk from our condo. Luckily, our friends had a wagon to pull all of the food over to the bbq, otherwise, it could have been a disaster since it was raining. 3) We were told that the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom could be made into a king. When we arrived, we found out that the beds were actually full size and could not be made into a king. 4) The condo is really far from parking. When we arrived, we had to carry $600 of our Costco food purchase a long haul from the car. Luckily, our friends next to our condo lent us the wagon that was in their condo and we were able to use that to reduce our walking back and forth. 5) There was zero cleaning supplies in the condo. We had a crawling baby with us and our stay was 9 days long. After a few days in the condo, I wanted to vacuum and clean the glass table tops. There were no cleaning supplies anywhere. I ended up borrowing some cleaning supplies from the condo next to ours.
To finalize, the view and balcony was great!
