Our overall impression. Gather was all about take your money and run. They were more than happy to send out emails when payments were due, but failed to reply to emails, text messages, and voice mails once we arrived. Here is an abbreviated list of the issues we asked to have addressed when we arrived.1) wifi login and password were incorrect.2) Water in master bath3) The door to the second bedroom doesn't close. 4) We had issues with Spectrum cable and the remote controls. We ended up using a laptop to stream programs.5) The dryer - it took over 2 hours to dry a few towels - which we had to do daily.6) The control knobs on the stove are missing the labeling. We had to guess which knob when with which burner. This is a safety issue and should be addressed immediately. We have stayed at VRBO properties across the country and this is one of the few that didn't have a "Welcome / Imformation Book". A simple guide to the property that would assist the guest with some basic information, like the wifi login, guide to the use of the TV, warning about the monthy emergency sirens, local restaurants and activies, etc.
Wonderful stay. The room and the property had everything we needed and more! The room was the most stocked room I’ve ever stayed in. The location was great. We would definitely stay here again. Had a little trouble with door code when we arrived but property management group was quick to respond and resolve. We had lots of activities planned to explore island and this was a great home base! Hope we get the opportunity to visit again! Mahalo!

#213 was a perfect location in the resort, close to stairs/elevators and the pools! It is beautifully remodeled and perfect for our family of 5! The hosts were very responsive to all communication. Only "annoying" thing were the tiny ghost ants...don't leave any sweet crumbs on the counter:)

The unit is clean, beautiful and so comfortable!
We had a great time staying at Kaanapali Shores. We were a family of 5 and appreciated the well equipped condo. The updates were nice with one complaint. The updated shower in the ensuite leaks water all over the floor. We did contact the property manager and they sent maintenance over to replace the seal on the shower door, which was appreciated. The problem is there is a gap in two spots on the shower door (one in the middle and one where the door meets the wall) and it leaks water all over the floor. We did find this to be extremely frustrating and we were constantly using shower towels to mop up the water, therefore needing to wash shower towels all the time. Other than this, our stay was fabulous. The resort was well laid out and there were always chairs available by the pool. We will gladly return to Kaanapali Shores in the future.

Check-in information was delivered a week in advance and was very helpful. The condo is very spacious, updated, and relatively private. The location is perfect. Resort is paradise. Food trucks are right next to the parking lot out front.Only negatives: we did have a plumbing issue when we first walked in, but a plumber was able to replace the part that same night. Wasn't a big deal, stuff happens. Also, there is a gym on-site but it's run by a third-party company and it's not cheap.Highly recommend. Great spot.

This was one of three units that Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers was able to coordinate for our family vacation. The unit was perfect for the young family staying there, complete with pack and play, highchair, and beach toys. As indicated, there were beach chairs and umbrellas. There is a folding wagon which was perfect for hauling groceries. The unit was modern, beautifully decorated and exceptionally well stocked. The location made it perfect for easy access to the lovely pool and hot tub. It quickly became our main home base.
The unit is very much as advertised.
Spacious unit, well maintained and clean upon arrival. It was equipped with more than expected (all the kitchen necessities, beach/pool toys, beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas, etc!!).
The grounds were very beautiful and well kept. The complex has 2 pools, one ocean front and one in the garden which is very kid friendly. Visually very pretty to walk around.
The location was also perfect for us. There's a grocery store right across the street, ABC 2 minutes away, some late night eat spots all walking distance. You're also a 3-5 minute walk to the boardwalk which was lovely to walk along and check out all the other hotels and beachside restaurants (Duke's is 600 m away).
No complaints here! Was a great stay. :)
