I stayed at Gilbert’s Maui Eldorado condo in Kaanapali and the experience was fantastic. From the start, Gilbert communicated everything clearly. Check-in and checkout were smooth and hassle-free.The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property features three pools, a recreation area with cabanas, outdoor games, and gas grills perfect for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. There’s a convenient shuttle that takes you to the beach if you’re not up for the walk which was also a nice touch. The location is ideal being close to Whalers Village, great beaches and the exclusive Eldorado cabana right on the sand. Everything felt easy and welcoming.Thank you, Gilbert, for making the stay so pleasant and memorable. I’d absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing Maui getaway.
Very attractive location and surroundings
We spent a week at Gilbert's place and absolutely enjoyed our time on the island. It is the perfect location near all our favorite things to do! We especially loved how close the beach was. The cabana was nice to utilize. I would love if the resort had umbrellas at the cabana. We loved the wagon Gilbert provided and used it numerous times. We really enjoyed the air conditioning and having a washer/dryer in the condo. Thanks for all the extras. We would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for my bachelorette, and we loved it! Quick walk to the beach, the village and right next to the pool. Plenty of room for all 5 of us, there was even a pullout bed in the living room but we didn’t need to use it, it was also nice that there was two bathrooms and a full kitchen. We definitely recommend and would come back!

The best feature of the property was it's proximity to the beach and the Royal Lahaina resort where a family wedding was taking place. This condo suited our purpose for 3 adults. The beach was a short 5 minute walk away, the pool and fitness center were nice and Whaler's Village with shopping and restaurants were a 10-15 minute walk. The only negative I would comment on was that the unit and furnishings are very old, dated and in need of a remodel.
Unit was perfect for our needs. Just as described. Kitchen well stocked. The Lanai was peaceful. Close to pool and all the outdoor game courts. Easy walk to cabana on the beach, but golf cart ride available. Snorkeling incredible at beach. Whale watching from cabana outstanding. AC worked great. We will definitely be back.
The location was great,walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Our particular condo was dated but very clean. We loved sitting out on the lanai and walked on the walking path every day. We would definitely stay here again.
The two separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked well. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels and beach chairs.
We took advantage of the full gym and the pool and hot tub.
The local beach was never crowded and there was an area to snorkel. The cabana was helpful during the day as we didnt need to bring towels or chairs.
The resort side (Kaanapali beach) had surf lessons, boat cruises, restaurants and shops. Its about a 15 minute walk (with kids who dont like walkimg) and there is parking if you want to drive.
Overall it felt like a good deal.
We love Maui Eldorado. This was our first time in this unit and although a little dated it was clean, had ALL the amenities and was the right price! We extended our stay because the rate was so affordable for everything included.
The small second bedroom was fine for our 4 year old. It was comfortable and the perfect size for her away from the living room.
Our favorite resort features are the huge beach cabana with fridge and stove for lunch without a trip back to the room. Golf cart rides although sometimes delayed made the short walk even better. Most of all the beach on this side of black rock is more comfortable, quieter and even better snorkeling. All the fun and restaurants of Kaanapali is a short walk. We will be back and consider this unit!
