Clean and well located well managed. Unit is well equipped and clean. The only negative is the tiny balcony. Everyone was great to work with. Great grounds and pool. Castaways is a good casual restaurant and is well managed. Beach location is excellent. Great access to the rest of Kaanapali amenities from this location including great morning walking.
My family just returned from a truly wonderful stay at this property in Kaanapali. The condo was clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay, including a beautiful view across the lush resort grounds to the ocean. We loved the friendly lobby staff, morning coffee service, and the beautiful grounds. The resort was low-key and just the right size. The pool was lovely (and we never had to fight for lounge chairs) and the stretch of beach directly in front of the property was just lovely and without crowds. A two minute walk north up the beach gets you to a wonderful reef for snorkeling and in addition to the wide array of fish we saw we saw sea turtles twice. The restaurant located on sight was very convenient, as was the free trolley that picks up from the property lobby and runs every 30-minutes taking you to nearby shopping, restaurants, and resorts. The host was very prompt in communication, provided welcoming and clear check-in and check-out instructions, and was a warm delight to communicate with. We have already recommended this property to our family and hope to return. Thanks for the great stay and wonderful Maui memories!
What an amazing place to stay! I’m so grateful for the wonderful owner/manager who helped make our stay even more special. We had some great tips that helped us to explore areas close by. A walk out onto the beach felt like paradise. I’m so grateful for our stay! Everything was very, very clean and felt very welcoming as soon as we walked in. I would definitely stay here again.
There is so much to do and see in Maui and this property made a fantasic base for me and my 8 year old to have adventures! We checked in and headed right for the beach and within 10 minuts we were snorkeling with a turtle the size of my son! The condo is quite comfortable and clean. The full kitchen is well equipped and combined with the resorts grill stations it was really easy to eat in. My son had a great time with the resort amenities such as the pool, shuffle board and ping pong table, and found lots of other kids to play with. Thanks for a great stay!
We loved this resort, not too big and not too small…just right. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The beach/poolside restaurant is reasonably priced with very good food. The beach and pool are beautiful. This unit comes with 2 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, and 1 cooler. Beach towels are available at the front desk. Location is great with many food options from food trucks to fine dining. There are several groceries stores nearby. The owner of this unit could not have been better with communication, responding quickly to any questions you might have. I’ve used VRBO many times and she was by far the best. Thank you Barbara!!! It was a perfect Hawaiian vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Maui Kaanapali Villas, very relaxing, just what we needed. As usual, the grounds and pool were lovely and well-kept, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our condo host was helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. Highly recommended.
Were in Maui for the third time. This time celebrating our 35th anniversary. Maui never disappoints and this property was fantastic. Will be looking to book here again when we come back.
This was our first time staying in a condo in Maui. We normally stay at a hotel/resort on the south side of Black Rock but now that we've stayed north of Black Rock we actually prefer the north side due to how laid back, quiet, and relaxing it was. The beaches and paths were less crowded and there are more shade trees along the beach and the resort to get a break from the sun when needed. The staff at the resort were all friendly and helpful. The resort has complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every morning in the lobby. There is also a library of books, games, and a ping pong table available.
Our condo was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen had every tool that you would need to prepare meals, drinks, etc. There were beach chairs umbrella, snorkel gear, and even a few beach toys for small children in the closet.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed our stay at MKV, the third vacation there for our family.
The condo was the perfect size for the two of us, and very well equipped. The owner was very helpful, providing information on transportation etc.
We love the MKV resort, beautiful well kept grounds and facilities and a lovely, uncrowded beach.
Looking forward to another trip to MKV in the future.

It was our first time for my husband and I to visit Hawaii. Barbara’s Condo was perfect for our visit.
We went snorkeling every day on the beach across from the Unit, saw plenty of fish and swam with turtles! Easy walk to Whaler’s Village where you can find plenty of Restaurants. It was nice to enjoy breakfast watching the Ocean. We even saw a whale one morning! Getting free coffee every day in the lobby was lovely! I loved having a kitchen for the times we didn’t feel like going out. Barbara was the perfect host giving us detailed information about everything we needed to know.

My husband and I just spent 12 days at Barbara's place and it was everything the photo's show and more. The property is right on the beach with miles to walk on paths or sand in either direction. It's close to Whalers Village Shops and many restaurants & cafes. We never used the trolley but it was running all the time - great option!
We enjoyed the properties pool with attached restaurant and bar (live music several nights) and time on the beach (chairs and umbrella in unit) or the property chairs in the grass. There's swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding on the beach right infront so although there's lots to explore on the island, you don't need to go anywhere.
The sunset views were stunning from the beach or the room and it was whale season so we saw whales everyday!! - That was amazing!
The room was perfect! Well stocked, great location and huge windows. Groceries were conveniently close. Barbara was a great host. Always accommodating (thank you for the late check out) and quick to reply.

This is a very nice condo with a nice ocean view. Everything we needed was there. It is very relaxing with the beach, pools, and restaurant, right here on the property. We had a very nice honeymoon here!
