Comfortable bed, clean room, beautiful sunset view, Whalers Village within walking distance. However the TV didn’t work - very confusing with multiple remote controls. Husband wanted to watch playoff MLB and NFL.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was very responsive to our communications, both before we arrived as well as while we were there. The property was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our walks along the beach walk and the beach was clean and well maintained. In addition, we very much enjoyed snorkeling there. Just a short walk to the edge of the beach to the right and we swam with a large variety of colorful fish, other sea life, and multiple turtles. Certainly a highlight of our overall trip.
This 8th floor studio is perfect for a stay in paradise! Close to shopping and restaurants. On the best beach in Maui and close to the Black Rock. Condon is clean and comfortable, and has all the amenities you could want for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Judy is a pleasure to work with. Can wait to go back (again)!

One king bed studio in The Whaler on Ka’anapali beach. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Close to restaurants and shops at Whaler’s Village. Easy check-in and checkout; friendly staff. Owner replied quickly to any communication . Would love to stay there again!
Upon arrival, I was informed that the unit I had booked was not available for the first night. The resort had coordinated with the owner to provide alternative accommodations as well as other compensation. While I appreciate the effort made to compensate me, I would have appreciated notice prior to arrival. Moving units during my stay was an unplanned inconvenience
Lovely condo, great location, beautiful views! Enjoyed my week with two teens on Ka'anapali.Enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning whilst listening to the crashing waves.Whalers Village and Maui Brewing Company are a short walk away. Very convenient for dining and sending the teens to the ABC store when we needed anything.Owner Judy was very kind and responsive. The Whaler employees were nice and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. I look forward to returning!Mahalo nui loa!
Location, hotel hospitality, room amenities, and room condition were all wonderful! If they just labeled the dish washer and close washer pods so I knew the difference; the front desk folks were not sure either.
Lighting needs attention…bulbs were out or missing, bathroom lighting in the shower area was like having a nightlight on. Holes in sheets,Tv completely inoperable(TV did not respond to the remote)no kleenex. Very dated shower. overall loved the location, loved the view, but this unit needs definite attention and updating to a VRBO standard.
I absolutely loved the location, and The Whaler staff and facilities were excellent. The room itself was overpriced for what it was - many of the appliances need replacing and the room itself didn't feel very clean (particularly the bathroom). Overall I would absolutely stay at The Whaler again, but I would probably pass on staying in this particular room.

We loved our stay at The Whaler and can’t wait to return next year. From the perfect location, to the unit’s amenities and the friendliness of staff, this vacation was just the best from start to finish. We will miss our mornings on the lanai watching the dolphins jump in the distance!

Our stay was amazing! This unit was furnished with everything we needed. It was so relaxing to sit on the patio and watch the whales in the distance and the sunset. We saw a double rainbow on the mountain side too.
The location is perfect! It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful time in this condo. The manager answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. The Whaler is a beautiful property and this is our third stay here. The view from the lanai is breathtaking and we saw MANY whales from there!!! Remember your binoculars. Aloha!🌴
Love the property. Room was clean and comfortable and staff is wonderful. The grounds and location of the Whaler can't be beat. We will be back for sure!
We enjoyed watching the whales from the balcony every morning and from the pool or beach throughout the day. The grounds are meticulously kept, the pool and hot tub are simple, but elevated so that you can see the ocean very well. The unit was clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We will look at this property for next January.
The staff was friendly. The check in and check out process was easy.
The location is excellent. Right on the beach, with a heated pool. I loved that we could walk to restaurants and bars nearby. The Whaler theme was very appropriate, as the whale show going on in the ocean did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nate, the Bellman and Elise, the Concierge went above and beyond. Our only disappointment was that the bathtub shower controls fell apart and needs replacing.
