This is our favorite unit at Papakea. Stay here!!!! It is gorgeous, comfortable, and feels like home. We have stayed at several units here and this is the one! Papakea itself is gorgeous. We love it here and come back every year
Absolutely amazing views. Sounds of crashing waves to lullaby you to sleep at any time of day or night. Unit has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in away from home. Must stay it coming to west Maui.

It is as advertised, a perfect location to explore the island. A great view of the ocean. The condo is well stocked from spices to beach chairs and boogie boards.
Just an incredible VRBO! Meticulously clean. Everything is labeled (switches and drawers). Shower is an incredible experience. Bed is super comfy as was the couch. A/C will freeze you out! Not one flaw could be found. Just a super special place with an amazing view with spectacular sunsets.
Maui is always great however this little gem of a room is absolutely the best. Stayed at multiple others over the years and this one tops them all. It had everything you need and the best view! Not sure what "squatter's rights" are on Maui but we thought about taking a chance.It was very clean and things marked clearly. I would go and check out what other guests have left behind before you go shopping. We purchased things we didnt need. No one will need butter for a while.
My husband and I love this place! It is very nicely decorated and the view is amazing. It is our second time staying here because we enjoyed ourselves so much last year. The kitchen is well supplied and the shower is wonderful!
This was our first trip to Maui. We loved the oceanfront condo and the property was gorgeous. Great accommodations.

Very nice condo. So close to the ocean! Just as advertised. Hosts were very informative. No problems at all enjoyed every evening watching the sunset from the deck.
Great location, property and host. This place is a good balance between calm/quiet but still has lots around it. Hosts were great!
We had a fabulous week staying at Dee's condo. It was welcoming and relaxing listening to the ocean and enjoying the magnificent view. Dee responded right away to a couple of questions we had. We also took advantage of a couple of exercise classes that were offered in the pool.

great unit would love to stay again in this unit
We stayed eight nights in this unit. Could not be any happier! Beautiful condo in a beautiful resort. Dee and Randy really do go all out to make your stay wonderful. Centrally located on the upper west side of Maui, so anything you need is close by. Unit was very well appointed with absolutely everything you might need on your stay. The shower was as close to a spa shower as anything i've been in! Will not hesitate on coming back! Thanks Dee and Randy

We had a marvelous 10 days in beautiful Maui. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular, ocean front. I highly recommend this wonderful unit.

We spent a phenomenal 5 nights at Dee and Randy's condo at Papakea in West Maui. The condo is exactly as you see in the photos and description - amazing ocean views (we spent lots of time on the lanai), well-appointed kitchen for two cooks, and comfortable and stylish "coastal chic" interior furnishings and decor. The resort is just as nice - lovely grounds, pool/hot tub, and a great location. Sunsets, breaching whales, sea turtles - couldn't ask for more. I asked a few questions to help us pack and Dee is ultra-responsive and helpful. Hope to come back again soon!

The online listing and pictures were very accurate but watching whales and their young from your private lanai is not easy to put into words or pictures. The condo exceeded all of our expectations; well stocked, quiet and walkable to several excellent restaurants. One night we had a storm which caused one of the nearby resorts to lose all their power for several hours. We received an email the morning after from Dee just checking in. We had no problems but it was nice to know she was concerned Very enjoyable week in Maui; we highly recommend!David & Mary K
Owner was awesome, condo has a lot of small supplies you would want. Rackets, chairs, cooler. View was stellar. Highly recommend this init and owner.

Wonderful stay with superb water view. Comfy king bed for great sleep. Spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view and spotting whales.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful, clean, and organized condo. Had everything, but didn't feel cluttered. Everything was labeled, which my type A personality appreciated. I was surprised at all the thoughtful details including goggles, q-tips, aloe vera, coffee, extra pillows, lights on dimmers, ALL the beach supplies, mini golf and tennis gear, and outdoor solar nightlights. The property was QUIET and the view was gorgeous. Got to see a rainbow right outside the slider doors and humpback whales for the entire stay. Lovely. Perfect, will definitely be back again!!
Very nice, quiet, clean, small one bedroon ocean front condo. The condo is only about 30 feet from the ocean. Second floor location is great for whale watching. Mom and baby whales so close you can hear them splashing around. Turtles along the seawall.
Spectacular sunset views. Ocean front is expensive but well worth the extra money for a relaxing vacation. We have visited Papakea many times over the years and this is the best condo we have rented in the resort.
My husband and I stayed at the condo last week and had the best time. The view is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony whale watching. We saw so many whales. The condo is tastefully decorated and very clean. I loved the organized kitchen. We felt so relaxed and at home there. Many places (grocery, restaurants etc)are nearby that you can either walk to or are a short drive so the location is convenient. The communication with the host is excellent. Her response time was great. All in all we would absolutely love to return.
