The location on Kaanapali Beach is perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling, or just relaxing at the pool. This unit proudly features:

Shops and restaurants can be enjoyed in any of the hotels or at Whaler’s Village. Relish the free hula performances at Hula Grill and Kaanapali Beach Hotel’s Tiki Bar. Enjoy fine retailers like Lululemon, Sephora and Tommy Bahama. Leilani’s on the Beach, Hula Grill and Monkeypod are great restaurants at Whaler’s Village along with many grab-and-go places too. Many of Maui’s best catamaran and parasailing tours also depart right from Kaanapali Beach. Literally, the boats pull up to the shoreline for loading and unloading. Snorkel sails, sunset cruises and parasailing are all at your fingertips.

To the north of the Whaler resort is the famous Black Rock at the Sheraton Maui. Further north is a great selection of restaurants in the Honokowai area; a few favorites are Pizza Paradiso, Java Jazz, The Fish Market Maui, and a longtime local favorite Okazuya Deli which you must try during your Maui vacation. Are you a coffee lover? Bad Ass Coffee store serves up a delicious cup of Joe and also has some great souvenirs for your loved ones back home. Enjoy the ease of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, the Village Trails or the very difficult Mahana Ridge Trail. Kapalua is home to some of Maui’s best restaurants. Higher end spots like Merrimans, Sansei, the Plantation House Restaurant, Cane and Canoe, and the Banyan Tree are wonderful for any special occasion. Honolua Store, the Pour House and Taverna are a little less pricy for amazing tasty cuisine. Neighboring Napili town also has a selection of restaurants. Enjoy dining oceanfront at Gazebo or the Seahouse! Cultural flavors of a wide variety, a wonderful coffee store and more are available at the Napili Plaza along with a grocery store, Napili Market. Third trip to Hawaii and will definitely be back. the unit was nice and suited us just fine. Constructive thoughts - room could use a safe, a dust pan, and some shear curtains for better privacy, all very minor. Underground parking was awesome, pool and pool staff very good. All in all pleasant experience.

Was a fantastic property and location could not be beat. Loved the unit for the 3 of us. We never left Kaanapali. Cooked nearly ever day & night. Ate on patio with a view. Kids could walk over to Whaler's Village at night. Played pickleball and used the gym daily - all wonderful facilities. Nice staff and complementary laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was superb - great location for restaurants, shopping, whale watching, beach walking. The room was lovely - nice balcony view of the ocean, clean and well stocked. The only thing that disturbed us was the air conditioner that ran all the time on the property next door.

Nice view and property. Pool is very small and crowded for the size of the complex. They did not have a record at the gate or the front desk of my prepaid reservation so check in was not easy. WiFi did not work during my entire stay. I asked management company Sullivan and the front desk for help. I needed to do some work while I was there and needed WiFi so that was important to me. Sullivan didn’t help at all but the front desk sent someone up. They tried but couldn’t fix it.

The room was dirty and dingy. Size of bed was not accurate. Dishes and pots and pans were too dirty to use which defeated the purpose of having kitchen space. No beach accessories provided in room (chairs, boards, umbrellas, etc.). Additionally the water pressure was awful and were very slow to drain. Had to take short showers otherwise the water started collecting and rising at the bottom of the tub

The rental was clean and well appointed. The Whaler is perfectly situated with a beautiful beach and next door to shops and dining. We last stayed here about 10 years ago and we were pleasantly surprised with the many updates to the property. Definitely 5 stars!!!
