This was a beautiful place to stay on Maui. It was absolutely perfect for us. It was walking distance, (a good but very doable walk, which was just fine with me) to the beautiful cabana with chairs, towels, a fridge, dishes, and a beautiful beach. The stated extra fee allowed for all of these things to be included along with a golf cart ride to and from the beach cabana during the specified hours. We could also walk through the Sheraton to the world famous and beautiful Kaanapali Beach. I loved that there were 2 nice clean double beds and big open spaces, along with a privacy wall that allowed us to open or close the view to the living room. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean, and the sink and mirror were also spacious and seperate from the shower and toilet, laundry. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and a closet full of beach items, along with extras like Saran Wrap, paper towels, etc. The refrigerator and electric stove/oven came in very handy. I even baked bread daily for our sandwiches. When we arrived it was after hours, so a quick call on the phone brought a person up to the parking lot, who loaded us and all of our belongings in a large golf cart, and we were driven directly to our room. This was very nice. The main pool and hot tub were great, and there were two more smaller pools as well. The double patio doors were nice with a partial ocean view in the distance. Parking was available with a short walk to the room. Will stay again. We love Maui.
Our stay here was everything and more than we expected! First of all, the whole property itself was beautiful, comfortable, the staff was welcoming and kind, Then seeing our unit and the feeling we had there was really something special. So comfortable, clean, great amenities, everything we needed in the unit and extra, we felt safe and so at home. There was no need to leave really and we didn’t want to leave. We couldn’t help but feel so relaxed and so at ease. The host, my goodness.. was so very kind as well, quick to respond and so very helpful to my questions. I would definitely recommend it here and I would love to return one day soon!
Perfect location for what we were on Maui for. Loved everything about our stay. It was easy to find, check in was fast and front desk personnel were really friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and loved the room and amenities. Had an amazing stay and would definitely return.
As usual it was a great vacation, and great accommodations.
The only negative that I have is when we went to check in, the front desk didn’t have our names in the system. I had to get my reservation info to show we had this booked. Otherwise Cynthia made allowances for us to check out later at no additional charge, and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
We’ve stayed many times at the Maui Eldorado and have always enjoyed ourselves. The property is beautiful and well maintained.
Great location and amenities it’s quiet and peaceful.
I was very happy with our accommodations. The room had plenty of room for my hubby and me. The bathroom space was huge! Having a washer/dryer in the room was wonderful! It is nice to walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
The unit had everything we needed. Short walk to Whaler’s Village and the free trolley stops right in front of the resort. The cabana at the beach made beach days easy.
We have stayed in several different units. This one was fine. My only input would be that the accordion style door between the bedroom and living room is broken, so if you are looking for privacy, this isn’t the unit for you. More like a really big studio because of this. Did not bother us, as we go for the cabana, and the whales! Knives could also use a sharpening.
This is our second time staying in this unit. It is very well furnished, plenty of kitchen accessories. New large smart TV. We have stayed in other units at Maui Elderado and this is one of the nicest ones we have been in.
We had a great time and Cindy was so accommodating to us! Allowed us to check in early and check out late.
Bed and furnitures are outdated. Per cleaner lady they are getting a new one. Other than that, we had a good time. Big space. Staff are very nice and accomodating. They provide mostly everything. I can recommend to others.
We stayed at this resort for a week. In general we were very satisfied with this property.
Pros:
1. Spacious rooms. kitchen, breakfast space, living room, bedroom with 2 queen beds, and a room divider, and balcony. We really liked the room divider.
2. Walking distance to white sand beach. The resort has its own cabana at the beach, with free towels and chairs.
3. On site free swimming pool and gym.
4. Helpful staff that can drive you and your belongings from office to your building.
5. The building we stayed was away from the main road, so it was quiet enough at night.
Cons:
1. No blackout curtain on the window. The room became very bright in the early morning.
2. We booked the room on Expedia. There were some fees not listed on Expedia checkout page, but were written in the property description. I found them and as OK being charged on site. Someone could be mad if not reading the entire texts.
3. No classified trash cans in the room or in the building. We had to put all kinds of trash into one can.
In general a very good option for family travel.
