Condo was clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, shampoo/conditioner. Comfy beds and pillows. Huge benefit of being able to call for a golf cart to get to the beach/cabana because otherwise you either have to cut across the golf course (frowned upon) or take a pretty long, hilly walk to/from there. Cabana is pretty bare-bones, but nice to have towels and bathrooms and the ability to get out of the sun for a bit. Pools were beautiful, great outdoor games areas at the big pool. Could use some lights for nighttime swims.It was described as a 1-bedroom, however this isn't accurate - the living spaces side was divided from the area with the beds by an accordion curtain. We have little kids who nap and go to bed early, so once they were sleeping we still had to be quite with lights low in the living room. The shower had too much pressure- it felt like getting pressure washed after a few minutes!

We own and lived in Puamana in Lahaina but since the fire have chosen to stay at the El Dorado 3 times now and have found each stay to be just what we need to combine working on our property with some relaxation and sun and water play.We were very grateful to have found a place so close by and with such wonderful amenities. We will definitely be back and so will our extended family.

Had we not had a second floor unit with a complete Lanai that was private on both sides for 15 years, A104, to a first time renter would seem perfect. But alas A104 has its pluses and minuses and we are spoiled. The biggest drawback is the lack of a comfortable lanai to relax and read a book. The lanai gets rained on and the two lounge chairs are so uncomfortable, they have never been use, with no arm rest, stuck in a dark corner,, they simply take up that leaves the table and 4 chairs which are good for earring but not relaxin. My husband spent 40 days laying on one of the two very comfortable sofas reading, instead of enjoying the beautiful view.The inside was perfectly adequate with a renovated bathroom and open style kitchen and the bedroom was spacious. The view is beautiful and The Eldorado is the only place to stay on Kaanapaii with its easy access , views and privacy. Can’t wait to go back.

West Maui will be a long time recovering from the tragic fires but the Aloha spirit that makes Maui so wonderful is ever present in its people and residents. Amazing sunset views and a Cabana on the most spectacular beach, a short walk to Whalers village for shops and restaurants, it remains a truly wonderful place. Unit A104 has an old time Polynesian style equipped with all you will need for a wonderful holiday.

kaanapali was pretty crowded during our stay but the eldorado didn’t feelThat way- it was nice and quiet. The pools were great and the location of our condo (a104) was perfect. Close to parking and close to the dolphin pool and a short walk to the main pool and gym.Great view of the golf course and the ocean. Easy access to the outdoor grills which we used one night.The condo itself (and the eldorado complex) is dated and due to its age didn’t seem super clean...but the accommodations worked well for our family to four. Two adults and kids ages 8 and 10. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the washing machine was a plus! Boogie boards also provided. Towels were a little shabby and the beds could probably use new mattresses- they were soft. I will say this was our first time in Maui and I'm not familiar with other accommodations there so this could be decent for the price. We were coming off a 4 night camping trip so the condo was fine for us and what we needed. The patio was great and the easy access to the pool was helpful with kids.Check in was not ideal as we tried to contact the management company since we arrived early to see if we could check in at 2 instead of 4. They never responded and we saw the cleaning people arriving at 2:30 so We just explored the area as we waited.Also at check in, the front desk person gave us no information whatsoever.I had to ask for a map of the grounds, no one informed us of the golf cart to the beach or that the cabana at the beach has towels and chairs and a fridge so no need to bring any of this items down (which we did because no one told us anything). We had to ask all the questions and the gentlemen hesitantly gave us the info. The beach itself is fine. We only went once as there were other and better beaches to explore. There were no waves to boogie board here but we did see 2 giant turtles- one walked onto the beach. Overall we had a nice time at the eldorado

Our place at Maui Eldrorado A104 was spacious and had a wonderful location. Parking was easy on the resort. We could also walk easily to the beach or Whalers Village. The beds were comofortable and the unit had everything we needed. The place was a little dated, but that didn't bother us.
