Welcome treats were a nice accent on arrival! The building is directly across the street from the park and beach. The condo has all the basics for a good stay, appliances, cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, but not much for beach gear. Parking and getting to/in the building were a bit confusing, but otherwise no issues getting in and out. There are restaurants, food trucks, and stores within easy walking distance. Kihei is beautiful and has a great vibe. This is somewhere I would consider staying again if I return to Maui :)

The location is the hest in Kihei 'walking distance to shops and restaurants and a block away from the South Maui gardens. The view from the leaving room is fantastic . The apartment is well equipped and was also very clean. I would not recommend this place because I want to keep it for me...;-)))
Marian has this great spot loaded with everything you need for a great Maui vacation! Great view, extra towels, comfortable bed, beach supplies and even coolers for picnic lunches. The garden and food truck park was a favorite of ours. Great beaches nearby. And Marian was a peach to work with - very responsive. I highly recommend this place!
We were here three weeks and found the unit and location to be as advertised. Reasonable walking distance to all amenities and bus service is free for seniors 24-7.
The condo was centrally located and comfortable.
Close to everything, outstanding ocean view, very well equipped, airconditioned throughout, walking distance to restaurants, grocery, shops, the best located place I have stayed at in 20 trips to Maui. Will come back to same location again for sure.
The unit was as advertised. The location was convenient to restaurants, shops and the beach. It was very well suited for our trip. I would stay there again.
Overall, I had a lovely stay at Marian’s condo. The only downside was that the water was shut off during business hours on two days of my 5 day stay. Because it was a business trip, the lack of water was very problematic. I met with clients for many hours on both days at the condo, and the noise from the maintenance crews and lack of water were borderline intolerable. There was minimal hot water in the mornings, and I’m not sure if that had to do with the plumbing issue. These issues were obviously out of Marian’s control, and the condo would have more than accommodated my needs absent the plumbing issues. Marian was very communicative and friendly. The condo is well situated, comfortable, and has a nice view. Would recommend to friends and family.
Tons of amenities. Loved the fact that the kitchen had pots, pans, utensils, and good appliances. Bed was so incredibly comfortable and we had good space and the lanai overlooked the local park and a spectacular view of the ocean especially at sunset. Great central location to Wailea (20 min drive), and about a 30 min drive to Kahului. Tons of food trucks for great meals are only a few mins walk. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back.
The condo had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Very comfortable and stocked with beach gear. It is very close to the beach, next to delicious food trucks and nearby shopping. Can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our time in Maui. The walkability to dining and restaurants was great. The food trucks were great. The condo was comfortable but unfortunately there was constant construction going on the whole time which limited my childs ability to rest. I know this isnt in the owners control but I do wish this would have been socialized with us ahead of time as its not really conducive to a nap schedule. The pool wasnt ideal (and we didnt want to use it with all the construction noise anyway) and while you can surf in the waters across the street there isnt a traditional sandy beach which is ideal for families, particularly those who were trying to walk everywhere. Overall, we had a good time but would not return.
This was a great location, the host was very responsive, and the condo had all amenities that we needed. Excellent vacation!
We love this condo so much that we came back to stay here again. We enjoyed the wonderful beach view from the lanai and appreciated supplies and pantry were well stocked. The cleaning crew did an amazing job and it was clean and organized when we arrived. The location is perfect as Island Surf is located at the heart of Kihei and only a close walk to meals and groceries!
Wonderful location and great condo
The condo was just as described. Had a wonderful view, it had everything you would need. Lots of storage. Very easy to get a hold of Marian if you have any questions. Would gladly come back, and rent again.

We really enjoyed our stay here so much! We loved sitting on the balcony especially in the morning watching the surfers and people watching in general. The food trucks right behind the property in the Gardens was so convenient as was walking to many choices for restaurants and shops! The beaches right on S Kihei were wonderful starting just steps across the street. We enjoyed having the pool also. The condo was spacious for just the two of us and had everything we needed and so much more. Super well equipped! We want to come back soon!
The property was quite roomy and the kitchen and unit was the best equipped condo/house that we have stayed at. Close to shopping and restaurants and right across the street from the beach. The street in front of the condo building can be a bit noisy in the early evening as people are heading out for the evening but it is quiet by eight. The bedroom is in the back of the unit, so you don't hear anything during the night.
Perfect location for walking to restaurants and the beach. Easy communication, great view!
