I took my 15 year old on a hiking trip so we picked this condo to just sleep here. Nice, clean but tons of tiny flies all over but they would die fast and drop on the floor. The bedroom was perfectly located for us since there r no windows so it is like a dungeon and we were going to bed at 6 pm lol. The negative part if the very strange window that has zero sound barrier that goes to the hallway and it was very loud but nothing noise canceling headphones can’t fix. Check in check out and communication was above and beyond convenient fast, like literally can’t be better. Very impressive! We didn’t use the pool or bbq are. Pool tiny tiny. Ocean here u can’t swim in but u can see turtles!! Was awesome!! Most residents here were very nice sweet happy polite. Bed was comfortable, great plus.
Kitchen well equipped. I would highly recommend staying here as a base to explore this beautiful island.
We loved that we were in the middle of the island, easy to get anywhere! Also loved that we could see the whales from the balcony!
We had an amazing time! The views were stunning, including continuous whale and sea turtles sightings. Location was great, can't wait to come back!
Great location on the bay with an awesome sandy beach within walking distance. If you want to experience more of the island, a car is a MUST. Beneficial to highlight things to do more around the condo. Having the washing machine was a wonderful asset. Thanks for a great stay!
The place is very nice and clean. It is in a great location and the owner is also very accommodating. Definitely recommend!
The location is this property's main appeal. The building itself is getting a little run down and could use new outside carpets and doors, especially the screen doors. The unit was spotlessly clean and had everything one could need to be self sufficient for the mon/th I was there. Also, there is a lot to be said for waking up to the sun rise and watching it go down from the lanai every day as well as waking and sleeping to the sound of the waves. And I loved the ensuite laundry. Having said that, the unit is a little bland. It could use a coat of paint and some .upgrading, especially the kitchen. There are holes in the lanai screen and the air conditionner could use a good cleaning outside as all the vents are full of dust. Also, the beach towels had holes and frayed hems and the beach chairs were so uncomfortable, I had to rent one. I called Maalaea Rentals for information on turning off the living room ceiling fan and I never heard back from them nor did they let me know how to clean the stove top, another question I had. Having said all that, I would recommend it to someone on a budget but would not stay in that unit again myself.

We stayed for a week long vacation in Ma'alaea and it did not disappoint! The condo was clean, centrally located with free parking and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the deck as much as possible enjoying the view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset and the many turtles swimming in the bay. A short walk down the road was a fairly quiet beach which we took advantage of multiple times. We highly recommend Karin's property and hope to return again for another stay.
The location was great with the balcony just 15’ from the ocean. But the room was very dated. Just keeping up with the bare minimum. There room was dark like a cave, bedding was.....
