The property is at a convenient location (walkalbe to many attractions) and has a great ocean view. The unit may need a little bit of upgrade, but we enjoyed the Friday fireworks from the balcony. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella and some beach activity toys are available in the unit and free parking is plus.
The ocean/harbor/city views are what makes this property unbelievable. A/C in every room and beach/pool towels available as well as adequate supply of bath towels too. The other plus is the owner/manager is always available and responds quickly. Check in/out was seamless and a few minor issues were handled right away. Jean was great in communication and support the whole time we were there.Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat!
Great location. Great communication with property manager. Check in super easy. No gym on site like listed. Washer and dryer are a pay use and only one dryer works. People from other floors use them so really difficult to do laundry. Dishwasher does not work. Lots of pigeon poop on patios and patio furniture. Wish that was cleaner. We cleaned it. The view is amazing for patio.
Magnificent view-location very good.Much updating and repairing needed. Shower door in main bedroom sticks and is practically inoperative. Ceiling panel in main bedroom shower is hanging loose. Plastering of walls in bedroom and bathroom is shabby. Drapes in living room and bedroom are in need of adjustment. Rug in living room is soiled and needs replacing or cleaning. Some attention needed on sliding door from living room. In second bedroom, sink drains very slowly and needs attention. Overall, the unit, while offering a remarkable view from all angles, was satisfying, but definitely in need of some refreshing.

This will be my go to spot moving forward for our family. - Unbelievable view x 10...ocean, marina, beach, city, fireworks, and sunset!- Clean unit...toilet bidet in both bathrooms are bonus - Parking included....cant beat this- Good restaurants, coffee, and convenience stores on site. Close walking distance to anything and everything. - Easy communication and friendly contact. Not one thing to complain about.
We spent a great deal of our downtime reading from one of the two amazing balconies in this well designed property. Air conditioning worked great in both bedrooms and the living room. Communication with the manager was quick and very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Beautiful property located in the Ilikai on the 19th floor. Furnishings and kitchen and bedrooms were more than adequate. One of the cutting boards in the kitchen was dirty and the floors were sticky in some areas. Overall it was a great place to stay and you really cant beat the view at any time of day. We put the beach chairs to good use and they were fantastically comfortable. Although we did have to youtube how to fold them back together which is ridiculously simple as it should be.
We really loved our stay in Hawaii, the unit couldn't have been in a better location with extensive views of the ocean and a great view of the Friday night fireworks. I love the location of the Ilikai Hotel because I could walk into Honolulu or Waikiki, it's between both. The hotel is a bit dated and in the unit it's not glamorous, sometimes the lanai sliding doors stuck and in another location the unit could be considered average. But you stay here for the location. It really is amazing. I would easily stay here again and may do so.
Location was amazing and so were the views. The condo could use some minor repairs and updates to the interior. Property manager was excellent and responded right away. Check in process was very smooth and had good communication from Captain Cook prior to and during our stay.
Enjoyed the location and condo. Views were spectacular! Close enough to busy Oahu but quieter than the crowded atmosphere further down by shopping, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Property and location was great! Any other time this would’ve been a great experience! lots of great local restaurants, proximity to the beach was great.
Unfortunately, the service workers from the Hilton have been on strike for several weeks now and every day every hour they were chanting and walking around the hotels. You could hear it very clearly from the 19th floor and that made the stay less than optimal …
Overall great property, however some honest things to note.
Parking was an issue. Each day upon our return the designated spot was taken. While each time i was given a new spot it was inconvenient to have to call and await response to park. This also lead to confusion for host which caused entering the house unannounced and a repeat visit to gather key left in wrong unit. The host was very apologetic, but I am sure it was not a one time issue and upon given a parking spot and the next day same issue with both spots leads one to believe it is not managed well.
Place was clean, but floors could use to be mopped, outside areas swept and windows cleaned. You are over paying for the view definitely not priced accordingly to benefits. House has very little amenities and the towels are subpar even compared to standard hotels.
While our stay was good i felt a bit disappointed in the place other than the view.
Again host was also great when needed, but there was just some things that should not be happening when you are paying that night cost amount.
If you care most about a view and close to beach I recommend 100%.

Very nice view, well maintained condo. Elevators were the only downside, it can take a while and there were not enough of them. Parking was a huge plus, esp in Waikiki. Overall, great stay.

A thoroughly pleasant getaway spot with comfortable beds, killer views and parking included. Would not hesitate to rent this property again in the future. It's a real gem! Jean Colburn, the Property Manager is First Class in every respect. Our group of 4 older adults loved this place!

The view says it all. The condo location was great with an excellent view. The only suggestions would be to update kitchen items and towels as well as provide newer bedding and include a few extra blankets. Cushions on the furniture could use an update and for example on updating kitchen items there was one real wine glass instead of a set.the condo was clean however there was a water bottle under the master bed and the patch work in the master bath needs to be improved, not a good look. Lastly, our contact person was very friendly and helpful.

Our family of 5 stayed 3 nights in this suite at the Ilikai and had a wonderful time, lots of room for 3 teens. The check in and checkout were super easy, property Manager Jean was helpful and friendly, although we had no problems to report! Friday Fireworks were perfect from the balcony, coffee from Aroma on the main floor was problem with the elevators while we were there I was worried from other reviews, but all was good. The parade is a tight squeeze, but that can’t be helped. The beach is about 3 minutes from the lobby, the HHV is 2 minutes away and there are lots of restaurants there. For kids, etc. we had a great time and definitely stay here again!
Our three days at this property started off well with flawless check in process and great communication from the property manager. The view of the Friday night fireworks has to be better than any other location in Waikiki. It was amazing. Also amazing were the views of the ocean and beach from the condo with windows and balconies all around. And you cannot beat this location in Waikiki. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. I easily give this a perfect rating.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2024. Our 12 & 15 year old kids shared the twin bedroom unit with adjoining bathroom. Shower handle was broken but our property manager, Jean, had it fixed same day we notified him. Condo was spacious & very clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were extremely firm though. Make sure you bring water shoes if you want to swim in the beach as it's very rocky. Can easily walk to Waikiki if up to it.

Overall experience was fantastic from checkin to check out. However the Ilikai building is aged and shows that in some area such as elevators. Unfortunately, some shops and restaurant were affected negatively by the power outage that was happened the day before our arrival. The view from our room was the best we have seen. We loved the separate lanai out of two bed rooms. I just noticed a few item that need to be looked into: the wheel of dish washer rack and the towel hanger in the bathroom.This is our second experience with Captain Cook Resorts. We have recommended you to our family and friends. We will be back again!Thank you very much.
Everything was great. The view, the location, the amenities, the weather. We loved it!
