Condo was everything that we had expected. Great location, beautiful view. It was clean and nicely decorated. A/C worked well. We enjoyed everything about the place. We would sit on the balcony every evening to enjoy the sunset and the great view. It's located close to many stores and restaurants. The Ilikai itself has a wonderful restaurant downstairs. We had free parking with the unit, which was a big plus. Check in was super easy, and communication with the host was easy. Would love to stay there again.

This was our second time staying in the exact same apartment. We were very happy with it and found Captain Cook to be excellent to deal with.
The location of this property is fantastic — it’s perfectly situated for exploring Honolulu, and the large balcony with ocean views was a real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the unit itself has several issues that impacted our comfort.The interior is dated, with curtains coming off the rails and a persistent leak from the balcony above that dripped onto parts of the outdoor seating area. The air conditioner above the queen-sized bed also dripped during the night, which was very disruptive. The mattresses were uncomfortable and likely need replacing, and the lamp shades frequently fell off. Some sliding door locks had loose screws, and not all power outlets worked.The bathrooms were clean and nicely presented but lacked external ventilation, as did the kitchen rangehood. The kitchen was also understocked with glassware and had mismatched pots, pans, and utensils, making cooking a bit of a challenge.The baby crib provided was very basic and didn’t offer good support, making it hard for our toddler to sleep well. There was no vacuum cleaner provided initially, but the property manager was very responsive and got one to us quickly when asked. We also had to purchase our own cleaning supplies as they were not provided.Despite these issues, we did enjoy our time here, mostly thanks to the amazing location and view. With better maintenance and a few upgrades, this property has the potential to offer a much more comfortable and high-quality stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ilicai Hotel & Luxury Suites. Room was exactly as described and communal communication with our host was easy (always very responsive). Listing was exactly as described. Overall, a seamless and very enjoyable stay and experience. Would definitely recommend.
Loved the ocean view and watching the sunset each night from the balcony. Location was good- within walking distance of beach, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant downstairs had live music each night. Jean gave us all the info we needed to make check in easy and responded immediately to our texts.
We loved our time at the Ilikai! Easy check in and out, helpful and fast communication, and great location. Perfect choice for our family of 6 :)

The two bedroom condo we rented for the week was updated, clean, had great beach chairs, and provided us with a very positive vacation experience in Waikiki. We only wish the elevators in the building were in better repair. By the end of the week, only two of five elevators servicing the entire complex were functioning. We wasted so much time, up to a half hour each time we left or returned to the building, it became frustrating.

A great location and a nice view. Not happy that the dresser drawers in one of the rooms has white particles we're not able to use them for our clothes. One of the drinking glasses had white stuff and so we had to wash all the plates/glasses to make sure they are clean. There was only 1 kitchen towel provided. We are party of 6. There are beddings for the sofa bed but the blanket is only for 1 person (twin bed blanket).

This unit is spacious for 2 couples, but worked ok for 3 couples. We honestly spent less time in the unit than we thought we would- probably next time would just get 3 separate 2-person units.
The condo was nice. Pretty much as described. Needs paints and balcony doors need repair. I recommend booking through the hotel itself or other venues as VRBO does not offer discounts for frist responders etc.as Booking through
Great place, great location and great view! We were there for a wedding and had a great time! We could walk to a lot of places such a great location.
Our family of 5 (2 adult children, 1 teen) loved our stay. We needed to use the sofa bed but the unit still felt spacious. Gorgeous view, beautifully furnished, and plenty of towels. 2 bathrooms (with showers) helped us get out the door or ready for bed. The coded entry was a huge plus as we didn’t have to keep track of cards or keys or decide who gets them. We rented a car so the parking space came in handy. Would stay here again.

We had a great time in Oahu and the condo at the Ilikai was beautiful. The views from the condo are awesome and the sunsets on the Lanai are just amazing! The unit was very clean & comfortable with nice furnishings. The dedicated parking spot in the garage was very convenient & right by the elevator. The Ilikai is just steps to the beach & to lots of stores & restaurants. We spent 6 nights there & took many daytrips throughout the island. We had such a Wonderful vacation in Oahu!
Wonderful time. Unit was lovely and accommodated 6 people. I am a many time visitor to Oahu. Thought I’d stay at north end of Waikiki, near Ala Moana shopping center. However we liked mid Waikiki better, where convenient to activity.. If you are younger than 76, the walking is wonderful. Thank goodness for buses
This property was perfect for 6 girls (aunts, cousins and sisters). Close proximity to Waikiki Beach and shopping.
Pool was very nice and relaxing, great restaurants within walking distance and an ABC store across the street.
This was the perfect retreat for us to get ready for our cruise.

good location, the room was cleaned properly and I am glad there was a parking lot.when I arrived there, no husband so it's a little bit hard for me to check in with my kids and some luggages but the property manager helped me. This was a huge help. I hope to use Captain Cook again. Thank you!
