Great location given the price. Yes, i would book this exact location again. Close to beach and walkable to restaurants. Cons: the cleaning lady walked in on us at 8 am, when checkout is at 11 am. I was still in underwear, getting out of the shower.
The buildng is run down and the apartment was worse.
We travel to Hawaii twice a year and stay about about 2 weeks with each visit.. this is the only time we not been welcomed with the spirit of Aloha... from the moment we enterred we we presented with strict commands in bold red letters which admonished us to not steal the property.... or we would be charged..that was lsughable as the furniture and 2 spoons and 1 fork would not be accepted as donations if brought to goodwill...
The apartment was dirty.. un painted.. the entrance door was broken from some attempt to pry it open... the bathroom and kitchen were barely sevicable and rusted
The balcony overlooking the garbage filled marina had 2 rusted chairs that would stain your clothes if u sat on them...
The apartment and building smelled of mold and the garbage trucks that picked up refuse from the hotels that lined the alley.
Homeless people slept on the sidewalk and in and around the lobby...
The highlight was that the toilet seat glowed in the dark so if u got up at night u didnt have to turn on the lights and send the bugs scampering away.
In short it is a dump and should be delisted by vrbo.

This unit it not in any shape renovated. The furnitures, bedding and kitchen ware are outdated. Not enough towels considering it is near the ocean hence we’ll be needing these to use back at the unit. Your thermostat pad goes in and out- doesn’t work properly. Check in instructions is not clear even through multiple communications by email (several emails) and . the app. There’s no home stay here, it’s just a Skelton of a place. The price is fair but that’s where they get you, the fees, on top of another fees on top of other ridiculous charges and the $300 deposit which takes almost a month for refund. Such a big disappointment for a great location. I will not stay here at this unit with this property again! I’m glad to take my money else where it’s worth it. This property owner needs to put some home feel and make your guest feel like they’re on vacation and not a motel.
Stayed at the property - condo for a few nights. I love the surrounding property, walking distance to just about everything within reach, and this location is a tad away from the main Waikiki, which is great! However, let me tell you all of disappointments. The communication sent from the property with check in instructions is poor, even through email and in their app.
It supposed to be newly renovated as it’s in the description. Well not sure what has been renovated. Furniture is outdated, window covers is from the 80s, bed felt like it’s used from college dorm, not enough towels, the thermostat pad goes in and out- doesn’t work properly, and I could go on and on. The price per night seems fair but man read the fine print cause fees, service fees, other ridiculous charges. You might as well stay else where for the amount you’re paying. To say it takes just a second for them to debit and charge for the deposit however it took almost a month for my deposit to be refunded. I have never experienced this type of home stay and will be gladly take my money else where. Will NEVER stay at this property unit again!

it could us some fresh paint and a new mattress as it is very hard! We have 4 people staying and only 3 towels for the entire trip!!Also cleaner walked in before 10am and didnt knock!!
Nice veiw everthing close
I never received the instructions from the host she's said they sent them to me on an email on September 27th and then again on November 4th which neither wherever sent to my email address so I sat in front of the building for 4 hours to get into the unit and when she finally responded after I got in the unit her response was it was the weekend and That's why I couldn't get a hold of her and I could vacate the property and try to find somewhere else to stay. Had issues folding up the sofa bed The coffee table was disgusting with the fabric was falling off of it The lockbox on the door was open miscellaneous construction debris in the closet nothing in the kitchen no salt pepper no oven mitts no kitchen towels one spatula no scissors dirty dishes One of the hand towels was dirty
Loved the location.
But
Had problems with door lock which at 10pm was not good.
Surprised no teatowels or dishwashing tablets.
Nevertheless fabulous outlook and quite spacious for 3adults.
